We’ve never been the type of ladies who can wear lipstick comfortably day in and day out (at least, not without wiping away the periodic smudges on our teeth). That’s why we’re borderline-obsessed with this versatile lip pencil, which combines the high-intensity pigment of a lipstick with the shine of a gloss while curing dryness. The brainchild of celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal, it gives the subtle illusion of fuller lips. Once it’s on, we can forget that we’re wearing it at all—unless we pass a mirror, of course.
The description of the product said "high intensity pigment of a lipstick." The reality? No pigment whatsoever. The product description also said "shine of a gloss." Hardly. What is the point of a product description if it doesn't tell the truth?1
I didn't feel it was as hydrating as it advertised. I tend to gravitate towards more neutral colors so the color I got as my sample was fine. I prefer another product.1
I was not impressed with this product. The color was very subtle and didn't last long at all.1
not a fan of this. The color was waaaaay off for my dark skin and it did not last long at all.1
This color looked AWFUL on me (nude) and was clumpy looking. I wore it once and ended up wiping it all off almost within 10 minutes. Not for me at all.1
I was excited to receive this product in my box until I looked at the color. It was way too light for my darker skin. It ended up looking very weird for my skintone. I was also surprised that it didn't last that long. If I'm going to spend money on a product, the color has to be right and it should be long-lasting. Maybe for lighter skinned people, this product would work well.1
The sample color was to light of a nude color which didn't show on my skin. I gave it away. I have plump lips so, I'm not looking for a magnifier .1
I got the Nude pencil, and the color was really awkward on me. The texture wasn't my favorite either.. I like my other glossy lipstick pencils far better.1
Sorry birchbox but I don't like nude lip color. My lips should not match my skin tone exactly. It makes me look like a corpse. I was all excited when I saw the color options for this product only to be given this. No.1
Was exactly same color as my lips. Had my friend try it and she experienced same results.1
