We’ve never been the type of ladies who can wear lipstick comfortably day in and day out (at least, not without wiping away the periodic smudges on our teeth). That’s why we’re borderline-obsessed with this versatile lip pencil, which combines the high-intensity pigment of a lipstick with the shine of a gloss while curing dryness. The brainchild of celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal, it gives the subtle illusion of fuller lips. Once it’s on, we can forget that we’re wearing it at all—unless we pass a mirror, of course.
I received the Soft Nude shade in my box this month. I'm not sure why anyone would want this color --- if you want your lips to be indistinguishable from your face, this is the color for you! Aside from that, it went on smoothly and felt nice, but just a huge bummer about the color. It does appear that there may be a few shades more worthwhile, however, most stay around that "nude" palette.2
I really liked the color, and the feel. It didnt feel like lipstick, but more like Chapstick, which i absolutely love.4
I am a lipstick wearer. This crayon is convenient, and the consistency isn't like a sticky gloss, or a thick lipstick, its the perfect combination of the 2. When I wear it, people do compliment me on the shade.5
I didnt love this product. It didnt stay on well at all and it actually came broken in the box. The tube is not sturdy at all and doesnt support the actual lipstick well. The crayon look is cute but not durable. All around I was not happy with this lipstick at all. :(1
The texture of this pencil is creamy and silky. The color, Soft Nude, is perfect for my olive/tan skintone. I am so happy that I finally tried a "nude" color that is appropriate for my skintone. Bravo Mally!5
I love the color and the feel of it but not something I woul usually wear5
I received the shade Nude and it had a nice full pigment. The texture is creamy but dries off pretty quickly leaving behind color but no moisture. I don't get "gloss" from this as the one I received was very matte in finish. There was no effect that made my lips appear fuller or more plumped.3
This lip crayon is very creamy and pigmented. It's also moisturizing.3
I was disappointed to get the soft nude color. I have dark skin and a lot of pigment in my lips so the color is white on me. I'm not really sure how I ended up with this color based on my profile. That being said...it went on really smooth and made my lips looks full and soft but i can't be a true judge of whether I like it because of the color.3
I really like this color -- very flattering on my rosy pale skin for a nude. I wouldn't say that this would last a full day, but it definitely holds up for a few hours and through a couple of drinks. It also has a silky texture without feeling like a gloss, which is nice since I'm not the biggest gloss fan. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a great basic lip color to add to their collection, and I'll probably purchase the full size once my sample runs out.4
