We’ve never been the type of ladies who can wear lipstick comfortably day in and day out (at least, not without wiping away the periodic smudges on our teeth). That’s why we’re borderline-obsessed with this versatile lip pencil, which combines the high-intensity pigment of a lipstick with the shine of a gloss while curing dryness. The brainchild of celebrity makeup artist Mally Roncal, it gives the subtle illusion of fuller lips. Once it’s on, we can forget that we’re wearing it at all—unless we pass a mirror, of course.
I really like this lipstick and the way that it made my lips look. It is smoothing and goes on nicely. I ordered the berry color and it is super bright and unnatural looking, so I can't really wear it. Some women would enjoy this color, though, but it's too bright for me.3
My lip repertoire involves slathering on chap stick, so I was pleasantly surprised by the natural, neutral tone and how easily it applied. Goes on smoothly and stays put, giving the lips a flirtatious hint of color.5
I can't handle lipstick all day and this is the perfect mix of light color and moisturizer, def a must for your purse.5
This is a very long-lasting and hydrating product.3
The color I got was spot-on. Never usually wear nudes, but this definitely made me realize I aught to be doing it more. It gives a really fresh, natural look. I'm not crazy about how sticky it is. Can't kiss my husband with it on.4
i thought it was nice just was not for me...........3
I loved this shade that I got. My only concern is if it can be sharpened. It seems strange to me to use my sharpener (brow and highlighter) for this lipstick. I will have to try it when I get to that point though. I wish it had a twist up option5
I loved the color, the texture, and the feeling!! I feel that this is a great product and I will look into this in the future.5
I drink a lot of coffee, as a part of my job and for recreation. I don't wear a lot of lipstick outside of special occasions and going out on weekends. When I received the Mally Lip Magnifier in Soft Nude as a part of my monthly Birchbox, I thought, "What the heck? Let's give it a go!" The texture was lovely - creamy, hydrating and rich. The product was easy to apply and was long lasting. I felt that the product did what it said it would, as my lips had a much fuller look. However, I didn't think that they looked glossy, and I wasn't very keen on the color. The nude color made my lips look chapped. I decided to put a lipstick over it (maybe that is a big no-no), and it didn't look too bad. In the end, I will not be buying this particular shade of Mally's Lip Magnifier. It felt great, but looked chapped.2
I was unfamiliar with this brand before sampling it. I received the Tulip shade and it is not as dark as shown. I have pink lips naturally and find that it looks like my natural shade. I did not notice a "magnified" effect, but did enjoy the glossy look and smooth application. I also enjoy that it doesn't have a major taste and that it smells plesant. I am not sure if I would purchase it normally becuase the full size price is above what I would spend for any similar product.4
