Although we’re committed to wearing sunscreen every day, we don’t love slathering greasy lotions on our face first thing in the morning (or really ever). That’s why we start our day off right with philosophy’s oil-free moisturizer, which weightlessly protects our skin from the sun. Perfect for layering under makeup, it’s also formulated to diffuse oxygen across skin’s surface for a glowing, natural-looking complexion—talk about a breath of fresh air.
I really like this moisturizer. It feels fresh on my skin and gives my skin a healthy and glowy appearance. I would not repurchase this until it has different packaging though. It's difficult to control how much comes out, so I've wasted a lot of product.3
This is, overall, a nice moisturizer
Pros: SPF 30; Absorbs well; No fragrances/potential irritant; Reasonable price for a high-end product
Cons: VERY runny....be careful as you'll literally get a handful of this stuff (it only takes a dab)
I wish this came in better packaging or something, because the consistency is so liquid. I probably won't buy this again.
I wasn't expecting it to be a light blue color. I would have much preferred it to be plain. The smell is also a bit flowery for me. However, it does absorb well and does a good job with sun protection.3
Ugh...so I want to give this product five stars, but I can't. It absorbs well, no strong smell, and it's a great value considering what you get for the cost. THAT SAID...the bottle it comes in is terrible. I read the other reivews before buying and thought, "How bad could this bottle be?" Well...it's bad. As others have noted, it's difficult to only dispense what you need. The bottle is better suited for heavy-use lotion or sunscreen, not a daily facial moisturizer (which is what this is marketed to be). Please, philosophy! Please put this in a tube with a smaller mouth or a jar...anything but this!4
This is a nice moisturiser that's not too heavy for summer and thick enough for winter. The tube makes it a lot easier to travel with. No scent and not the most exciting stuff (I didn't notice any changes in my skin), but it does the job!4
I used this product all summer long. It's light and works well to protect my skin from the sun. Be warned that it is liquidy and will come out of the tube too quickly if you are not careful, but if you keep that in mind it is totally a great product.4
I am in my mid 30's and wear sunscreen every time I go out. This is moisturizing enough with out being heavy or having that thick weird sunscreen feel. Before this I was using a regular moisturizer and Neutrogena Sunscreen, the kind you can wear under make up. I like this better. Big bottle, just a pea size is enough for me. This will last a while.4
I love philosophy. I've used their standard SPF for years, it gives my skin a nice dewey texture. But there was something slightly off about this one. I'm going to continue buying the standard version.4
I love this moisturizer. It's light and refreshing (the smell is great and it has a cooling effect on the skin). I have sensitive, acne prone skin and I haven't had any issues with this product.
The packaging is disappointing. The consistency of this moisturizer is VERY thing and this bottle just doesn't work. The opening is too large and the product just pours out, causing a lot of waste. A lot of the product just pools in the cap, when when closed. I have to store this upside down.
This really came in handy under my makeup when it was really sunny in my area. I love everything I've tried from philosophy!4
