The idea of a facial peel can be scary (anyone remember Samantha’s treatment-gone-awry in Sex and the City?), but in actuality, they can be really beneficial for your skin. philosophy’s two-step microdelivery peel delivers spa-grade exfoliation that can be used at home to freshen skin and combat the signs of aging. Enzymes resurface and restore a dull complexion while vitamin-rich crystals nourish and replenish.
I ordered this on a whim when I had a BirchBox coupon that I wanted to use. I have pretty fair skin, and I have a little bit of lasting acne scarring from when I was a teenager that leaves me with a slightly uneven skin tone. I've been on the market for a peel for a while but never wanted to try any out because of the high prices of most of these peels.
The peel is worth it. After using it for the first time, my skin felt completely new-the only way I can describe it is like my skin was feeling fresh air for the first time. The bottles are really small but you don't need to use much product, and I've only been using it once a week so I expect it to last for a while. I would recommend it!
The smell was awesome and the feeling of soft skin after u wash your face is amazing5
I've used literally hundreds of peels, and this is, without question, in the top five. I have sensitive skin, but I've never had a problem with this, and a little goes a long way. After I've applied the scrub I use what remains in my hands to scrub my hands, and elbows. I leaves my skin feeling refreshed, smooth, and because the dead skin cells have been sloughed off, my skin is glowing. Afterwards I apply one of my favorite serums, such as, Pure Argan Milk Intensive Hydrating Treatment, Denese Hydroshield Ultra Moisturizing Serum. Alpha Hydrox Intensive Serum 14% Glycolic AHA, pure Argan oil, or a serum from my line WillaRose containing argan oil, olive oil squalane, jojoba oil, rose hip oil, zinc oxide, tea tree, and lemon grass essential oil, then I moisturizer with whipped argan oil, and lastly an eye cream. Your skin will feel, and look amazing.

Due to the excellent reviews, I purchased this set & have never been more pleased with the results of a skin care product. My face feels smooth as glass. At 59, I still have good skin, and this peel gave me noticeable freshness & luminosity. Yes, it is pricey, but you only use it once a week & I can tell this will probably last at least six months. Will definitely purchase again.5
I have used this product in the past & was delighted to find it on BB in a larger size & at a lower price. The first step is a sort of scrub, which you gently massage into your skin for 30 seconds or so. Without rinsing, you then gently blend the gel into the exfoliant scrub. The mild chemical reaction creates a sort of froth, which you leave on your skin for 2 - 3 minutes before rinsing with tepid water. This peel is mild enough for me to use a couple of times a week in the evening. However, I follow up with a moisturizing oil (To avoid irritation, I don't use a nighttime lotion or cream containing alcohol.) Leaves my skin looking & feeling smooth & soft, not dry or irritated. I can definitely see a decrease in fine lines & discolorations since I've been using this product. Every bit as good as a spa facial!5
I always wanted to try Philosophy products. This is way to expensive for what it does. It left my face feeling clean but not like I had a face peal. I just got a bottle of pure grace body lotion and I can't stand the smell. I think this brand is way over rated. They need to get different flavors in here from Philosophy.3
I love all of there products. This one is a must have. It really cleans and feels great after using it. I noticed a difference after the 1st use. I have sensitive skin so I was skeptical, but it works great.5
I have tried lots of different scrubs and nothing is as good as this stuff. My skin is noticeably smoother and brighter after one use. It costs a lot but I think it's completely worth the price.5
I love Philosophy's Microdelivery Peel. I've tried a lot of other exfoliants and I keep coming back to this one. It smells great, and is the only thing that comes close to making my skin feel like I just got a facial. I've had people notice and ask what I've done to my skin, it just glows. It really does heavy duty lifting so I couldn't see using it more than once a week, especially if your skin is sensitive.5
I love this stuff. First of all- it smells like oranges! Who doesn't love that? Second of all- it works. I use this about once a week and can totally feel and SEE a difference! A little goes a long way, therefore the expense of the product is justified by the number of uses you get out of this product. This peel should totally be a necessary part of anyone's beauty routine.5
