Sometimes we find ourselves strapped for shower time. While we make room for all the basics—shampoo, shower gel, a shave—exfoliation doesn’t always make the cut. Enter these portable, fit-in-your-palm scrubs. Much like their edible predecessors, these bonbons pack a lot into a little bite. Crammed with all-natural goodies specialized to slough away dead skin and replenish cells with moisture, you’ll want to make these your new cleansing companions—even in a time crunch.
This product melted in the Texas heat all over my other products. I still let it cool down and tried to use it but the smell was awful. Way too overpowering.1
I absolutely did not like the scent of this "bon bon". I got orange but it smelled like chocolate covered oranges. Not my favorite smell.1
I wanted to like this. It's about the size of a bon bon and it starts disintegrating the moment you use it. It left a greasy film on my body. A washcloth would exfoliate your body better.1
I received the lavender one in my box this month. It smelled terrible! I threw it in the trash immediately. Don't waste your money!1
This product felt greasy and and unpleasant on my skin necessitating another shower after use. I also had to scrub the shower floor to minimize a slipping hazard from the product. Definitely did not like.1
The smell was beyond overwhelming and smelled like a candy. Personally, I don't want to walk around smelling like this, so strong. Also, didn't last 2-3 scrubs. Great concept but poor execution.1
Haven't had a chance to use it but it smells good and seems appealing1
So, I bought these to split between myself, my mother, and MIL for Mother's Day. I'm building them each their own custom BB. Well, I decided to try mine out the other day. Oh my word, not a fan.
1. It's harsh and not for even mildly sensitive skin. It's extremely abrasive. I can see people with very tough skin using this and liking it. I imagine they'd be wonderful for feet, but my skin felt like it was being shredded.
2. I used this on my legs before shaving, and though it did increase smoothness, it also seriously gunked up my razor. Again, smooth but painful.
3. It claims you get 2-3 full body scrubs with each Bon Bon. Lies! I'm under 5' and under 100 pounds. I didn't even get one full body scrub out of it.
4. They all SEEM to smell the same, a sickly sweet semblance of citrus, but the smells weren't refreshing, rather heavy.
Definitely do a spot test with this. I used this once and it was fine. I used it a couple days later ONLY on my elbows and they turned bright red and started to itch and swell. I had an allergic reaction to something. If this has baking soda in it then that can be really harsh on skin.1
i was super excited to try this but so disappointed when i did. it was SO oily and greasy that it left a film on my hands when i was finished with it. i had to wash my hands four times with body wash before i could even think about trying to wash my hair. it left that film all over my body as well. i didn't like it at all. threw it out after the first use.1
