Sometimes we find ourselves strapped for shower time. While we make room for all the basics—shampoo, shower gel, a shave—exfoliation doesn’t always make the cut. Enter these portable, fit-in-your-palm scrubs. Much like their edible predecessors, these bonbons pack a lot into a little bite. Crammed with all-natural goodies specialized to slough away dead skin and replenish cells with moisture, you’ll want to make these your new cleansing companions—even in a time crunch.
I thought this would be prefect for me - I have keratosis pilaris on my arms, requiring exfoliation 2-3 times/wk and heavy moisturizer every day. It smelled great but the moisturizing wasn't enough for me and my arms were dry and itchy by lunch time. I used on my arms only and stored it on a spare bar of soap (dry) in the shower and there's definitely enough bonbon left for 2 or 3 more uses.3
This product was a new concept to me but, after reading other reviews regarding the consistency and intended use of the product, I decided to try it while bathing instead of showering. Instant hit!! Yes, the composition of the bon-bon is such that you will want to keep it away from a stream of water it would be exposed to in the shower. In the bath, however, you can take your time and used it as needed on the areas that need it the most, setting the bon-bon aside on a dry ledge while enjoying a good scrub. Plan on using a whole bon-bon per bath. That is the intent of the product, not to be kept and re-used. The salts are emulsified in some type of wonderful oil or balm that left my skin feeling so supple...as if I'd just left the spa after a massage. The jasmine orange fragrance was amazing. Now I want to try the lavender/coconut!5
Normally, I am not jazzed when I get bath products in my box. This, however, was great! My skin feels so amazing. Not only did it exfoliate but the essential oil blend in the bon bon moisturized as well. I have taken another shower since without using the bon bon and my skin still feels good. Love it!5
These are really nice but a bit pricey. The lavender smells amazing, doesn't leave an oily feel but super moisturizing.5
I liked this pretty well, I didn't care all that much for the scent of it and was very disappointed that the sample was so small. I thought we would be getting the package of 3 not just 1 of them.3
I like how the scrub is shaped so that it's ready to use. I've used other scrubs before and they ate usually in a jar and it could be cumbersome to scoop out in the shower.4
When I first read about the body scrub bonbon I thought it was cute, but kinda silly. Why not just a tub of scrub? But this is a really fun way to scrub. I used it by quickly running it over my arms, hips, and shoulders (legs were exfoliated the day before) and then massaged it in. It rinses easily, and didn't leave me feeling sticky, despite the humidity. I think this method will make it last longer than 2-3 showers, maybe 4?
The scent (coconut & cream) is AMAZING! I want all of my beauty products to smell like this. It's more complex than a standard coconut...while I massaged my arms it shifted from coconut smell to a caramel, candy smell. 12 hours later my arms still smell great.
Send me more! I've gotta explore what else Sumbody offers in this scent.
I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. Much more moisturizing than I expected. Only downfall was that one "Bon Bon" was just one use, not 2-3 for me.5
This scrub made my skin feel very smooth after my shower.3
I'm not usually a big fan of coconut scents, but this coconut smelled real and delicious. The scrub left my skin feeling soft and moisturized. This was a treat!4
