Don’t get us wrong, we love to lather up, but there’s a difference between getting clean and stripping our skin of its natural moisture. This set of handmade soaps washes away dirt without washing away the oils necessary to keep skin soft and healthy.
After washing with the soap my skin felt squeaky like after you use cheep hotel soap.1
When I saw that I was getting soap in my birchbox I was excited since it's something I love to splurge on. The sample was so small it felt like a joke. It seemed to lather well and the scent was ok but I had to attach it to another piece of soap in my shower just so I didn't keep dropping it. It lasted for 2 showers.1
Trying to pass this off as anything other than soap is comical. It is not luxury soap or amazing soap. The soap does not get you cleaner than any other soap. It did not smell nicer. IT IS JUST SOAP.1
Too frilly and fragrant. I like a gentler cleanser with les ingredients.1
I genuinely haven't hated anything I've received from birchbox but I just hated how this made my skin feel and I hated the smell.1
The soap is too pliable so it's squishes in your hand. This particular scent was horrid. I smelled like a nursing home. Pass!1
I have sensitive skin and eczema, so typically anything other than a sensitive skin formula body wash is a no go. I thought that maybe because this soap is natural, it may be different. Although it didn't break out my skin, it was very drying, so it wasn't great for me.1
not nice, didnt leave my skin feeling particularly nice or clean. left a weird film on my skin, didnt even smell nice. no bueno.1
It smelled amazing but made my skin feel like rubber. It seems like hotel soap, not luxurious.1
This soap has an unpleasant smell and I feel as if it does not give a clean feel to the skin you can feel residue after1
