Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
For something that costs an astounding $1.67 a pop, you'd think you could a few uses out of it before it stretches out and loses what little grip it has. I don't have particularly fine or thick hair, nor do I have an absurd amount of hair follicles, so it's not like my hair should have presented a lot of challenges. Disappointing!1
Birchbox needs to be more concise on it's product descriptions, for instance on this product some of the groups of colors are not even described and the picture is useless, it's too small.1
Sadly, not able to fairly rate product as it was too small for my curly hair. I can say though the ends frayed easily from minimal handling and no use. Disappointed in receiving this product in my box; made worse by questions of quality.1
There is nothing exciting or different about these. Sure, the colors are nice but seriously they are a long piece of fabric tied in a knot. Why would I use this instead of a regular tried-and-true elastic? I still got a pony tail bump.
If you have enormous, curly and thick hair this hair tie is not for you. I have about 3 heads worth of hair, only the strong of heart dare to wrestle my hair into submission. This tie does not cut it.
The material feels lovely and of high quality, the stretch is perfect and the shade of blue that I received was the perfect punch of color without treading into teen/forever 21 territory. If I had less hair I totally would rock this. But otherwise NOT FOR ME.
I did not understand this hair tie at all. The second I tried to put it on, it broke. I re-tied it and tried using it in a variety of ways, but I just don't get it. I normal metal free hair band it probably what I'll stick with.1
I think this would be a great product for someone with thick hair. my hair is really fine. the ties kept slipping. i'll have to stick to rubber bands/1
cheap product, looks like a ribbon. by far the worst product that i've seen on birchbox.1
I have really long and thick hair and this did not hold my hair up at all! It didnt stretch enough for me.1
I don't like the tails sticking out of the knot - I think it kind of looks like you took some random elastic and made it because you desperately needed to tie your hair back but had no hairband. It doesn't have enough tension to hold a ponytail in place, and isn't stretchy enough to wrap around the right number of times - it was too loose, but wouldn't stretch to go over my ponytail once more1
