Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
Having anemia makes my hair more fragile - these are the only hair ties that do not pull or break my hair. They are adorable and comfortable even when I lay on my back during facials, massages, dentist, etc.5
These twistbands are amazing! I originally thought I'd be bored with the colors but actually these are the perfect shades and look great in the hair while not leaving creases or lines. I have silky hair so they can slip out of my hair if I don't have any product in which can be a hassle but the benefits outweigh the costs on these as you can go from hair up to hair down without a flat iron.5
In the last couple of years, I have noticed lots of breakage around the hair closest to my hairline near my ears. I know this is from pulling it back with strong elastic bands. Which I often take out once a day due to a headache. The twistband have been an answer to my prayer. I use them when I need to pull my hair back for a couple of hours and when I want to take it out later....voila, no band lines from the hair tie. I love these and am starting to growth from those shorty hairs that were breaking from the other pony tail holders. These are worth it.5
The color of these are cute and I love this style to use for my hair, but they stretch out after the first use. I hope future ones have a better hold to them.5
Love twistband elastics! They're a little expensive, but they're one of the few elastics that don't crimp up my hair or rip it out accidentally.5
I've always worn drugstore hair ties (the kind with glue instead of metal, of course), but the claim that twistband ties don't leave creases was compelling enough for me to shell out the cash for this 6-pack. I got the blue set ("Jessica") and the colors are even prettier in person. The elastics are, as others have said in their reviews, very soft (to the touch, and in terms of their stretchiness--not too much tension). They don't leave a crease in my hair, which is naturally bone-straight and not very thick. As others have said, because they're designed to avoid creases, they're not very tight. These have held up well on brisk walks, but I doubt they'll do me much good at the gym since my hair has no texture and doesn't grip to the ties very well. They're definitely great for pony-tails and to use while styling, and much more attractive than drugstore elastics!5
i received one in a birchbox a couple months ago and it is still a favorite. I wear it to bed and even right after I blowdry my hair, it still doesnt cause a bump5
I love these bands! I had never used these before and had desperately wanted some to show up in my Birchbox. No such luck so I ordered a set. These hold their shape and have enough stretch to last!
I love these and they are so gentle on your hair. My daughter uses them since I got my hair cut short. Her hair tends to tangle, but these don't hurt her one bit. A must have!5
These are great twistbands! I have long thick hair and these hold my hair in a nice high ponytail without breaking or snagging my hair.5
