Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
As a person who has had long hair most of my life I have tried many different hair ties before. The twistband does its job of holding up my hair. It did not fall out or come untied like I thought it might. I am not too fond of the huge knot that holds it together. I can't comfortably wear it on my wrist because it catches on things or makes it uncomfortable to move things around. Overall this is an OK product, but nothing I would rave about or buy for myself.3
I like hair ties because every girl needs one. This one is probably not worth the money though because I find it is thinner and not as strong as a scunci, which is cheaper.3
I'll be completely honest, when I saw this in my Birchbox, I had no idea what I was looking at. I thought it was a bow that was tied wrong and thrown in the box meant to be around another sample. However, after reading about it in the little booklet, I realized that it was a sample. I have tried the hair tie on a few occasions since receiving my Birchbox and I'm not really sure about it, to be quite honest. I mean, it's a hair tie. It's not really something I'm lacking or anything that I'd use outside of my house as I'm not one to tie her hair up outdoors. A redeeming bit about this hair tie is that I can wrap it twice without it slipping and falling out of my hair.
So I would say that it was a nice inclusion, but would have much rather received something else.
Although these are much prettier than my Goodie black bands, they didn't hold as well. The knotted end kept coming undone, which wasn't good either, but a friend thinks mine may have been defective. I'm definitely on the fence on this one.3
Cute tie to wear on your wrist to have a tie ready to use at anytime.3
These hair ties do hold your hair up just fine, but I'm not sure if there is anything in particular that sets them apart from other hair ties. I don't necessarily find the design to be much more fashion-forward than a regular hair tie. However, they don't leave creases the way regular hair ties do, so if that's a big problem, this could be a good solution. I will continue to use this product.3
I thought that this product was neat, but not really anything I'd go out of my way to purchase. It worked well, though.3
These wont rip or damage your hair. That's great but if you have really thick hair they are rather small. I also found that they slipped a bit and did not hold tight. Those with finer hair might love these, mine is just too thick for this product.3
Just a simple hair tie , nothing special but the color is cool3
These are a really pretty idea. I was pretty happy to try the silky shiny different type of hair band plus it looks nice on the wrist.
The ends started to fray almost immediately and it lost a lot of elasticity within the first couple of uses. I got a light pink color which also quickly started to look dirty.
I did like the gentle nature of the tie on my hair but doesn't really have strength to hold back lots of hair during sports. I think I liked it at a bracelet better.
