Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
I tried the twistband hair tie for my finer textured hair for a hot yoga class as that tends to be the time when I need to pull my hair back. I wrapped the twistband atleast three times before I felt like my hair was securely tied back, and throughout the hour and a half class I felt that the twistband relaxed and stretched. I don't feel that it was able to grip my hair very well, but perhaps with thicker textured hair this would be a wonderful hairband.3
Seems I could just go to the fabric store and buy the nice elastic, cut to size, tie together, and then burn the edges. Not all that enthusiastic about this hair tie3
My hair is VERY thick and the twistband does a fine job of holding it out of my face around the house. I generally only wear my hair up when I'm running or doing yoga and the twistband wasn't the greatest for that.3
Initially I was in love with this product but once I started using it it began to fray. I still like them but for the price I would not expect a better quality product.3
I don't think there is anything special about this product. It works okay, I wish it were more elastic. I got the lime green color, and for me personally that color does not match most of my clothes and accessories.3
I have thick and straight hair. This is not tight enough for me or grip enough to keep my hair up.3
These twistbands are nice for making sure I'm not blinded by my hair. I have long hair and don't really do much to "style" outside of washing and brushing. It's nice to keep the twist band on my wrist to simply pull back my hair when needed. I liked it best when I braided my hair, but it was a little hard to use for a full ponytail.3
I'm iffy about this. I don't like big hair ties I like the typical neutral bands. I'ts kind of small too. Not as stretchy.3
As a person who has had long hair most of my life I have tried many different hair ties before. The twistband does its job of holding up my hair. It did not fall out or come untied like I thought it might. I am not too fond of the huge knot that holds it together. I can't comfortably wear it on my wrist because it catches on things or makes it uncomfortable to move things around. Overall this is an OK product, but nothing I would rave about or buy for myself.3
I like hair ties because every girl needs one. This one is probably not worth the money though because I find it is thinner and not as strong as a scunci, which is cheaper.3
