Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
I like these hair ties not only because they keep my hair up without feeling a painful tugging on my scalp but also my hair doesn't get wavy after I take it off. The elastic for this is also very soft and you can wear this as a cute bracelet accessory when you aren't using it for your hair. The band will stretch over time the more you use it though and lose its original shape. :/4
I have been so sick of the constant pulling of my hair with regular hair ties. These twistbands work marvelously and look great on my wrist.5
These are so great. I keep a handful on them in my gym bag. The colors are so fun. They last a long time too. I use them everyday!5
I always have one of these on my wrist ready for if I need to put my hair up. They won't leave a crinkle in your hair and they look cute on your wrist too.5
I love the concept of this type of elastic tie. This particular brand was alright at first. However, they got stretched out real fast. I have fine hair, so it can't be because of my hair. This isn't the only brand that has had the problem with too much stretch after not too much wear. Perhaps a thicker elastic design could fix this issue.3
These hair ties are probably the only ties I've found that give my ponytail more volume without tons of effort on my part! I have very fine hair, and these hair ties not only leave very little creasing behind (if any), but they also give my hair a little lift at the crown when I wear them. I love this product!!5
I was really excited to try twistband hair ties because they are supposed to keep hair up without creasing, and creasing is a big problem for people with shoulder-length hair, like me. I have relatively thick hair and after the first time using one of the hair ties, it was already completely stretched out! I think that part of the reason why they don't crease hair as much as other hair ties is because they don't hold hair very tightly - while wearing a twistband, I often feel as though my ponytail is falling down. I don't think these hair ties work well for people with thick hair, and overall I was disappointed by this purchase.3
I love these hair ties. They are comfortable (don't pull my hair at all like so many other brands), adorable, and really hold up over time and when I've worn them doing active things (e.g. Camping). Would highly recommend!5
I have had these now for several months. They totally stretch out beyond usability. They are a nice alternative to the traditional hair band though.2
I wear my hair up all summer long. These twistbands add a little something to my updos. They don't snag hair. I will be getting more colors soon.5
