Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
I first purchased these twistband hair ties from Birchbox and have now thrown out all other rubber bands! I love how gently they are on my hair and the fun colors and designs that these have. Everyone should make the switch!5
These are fun and cause far less breakage than regular hair elastics. I love all the different colors and patterns they come in.5
When I wear these around my wrist, everyone asks about them and then says how much they've been meaning to get one (hint hint, these make great gifts).5
I like how they don't bind or beak my hair, but the price point is just too high for what it is. I would spend more, if I actually got more ties to use.3
I love how gentle these are on my easily broken hair, but I was disappointed that my hair still creases when I use these hair ties. I do love, however, that they are not super tight on the wrist.3
I was a little skeptical of the twist tie I received in my box a few months back but after using it I must say it works well. It holds up through the day and doesn't rip out my hair when I take it off.4
These are not too tight on my wrist, and look pretty cute. They stay in my hair, which is curly and unruly, even when I put my hair in a high ponytail.5
I was hesitant to use these because my hair is so thin I was scared it wouldn't hold it in place. I was thrilled to know that not only did it hold my hair but it also didn't break it off like other bands in the past.5
These hair ties are a great value and super trendy. I just have very thin, fine hair and I find that I have to wrap the pony tail holder around my hair up to 4 times, which can stretch them out. These are great for gals (and hot guys with man buns) who have thicker hair.3
I thought it was silly to spend so much on hair bands, but they really are worth it. I got one in my birch box a year ago and I still have it - that's saying a lot for a hairband!5
