Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
Having anemia makes my hair more fragile - these are the only hair ties that do not pull or break my hair. They are adorable and comfortable even when I lay on my back during facials, massages, dentist, etc.5
These twistbands are amazing! I originally thought I'd be bored with the colors but actually these are the perfect shades and look great in the hair while not leaving creases or lines. I have silky hair so they can slip out of my hair if I don't have any product in which can be a hassle but the benefits outweigh the costs on these as you can go from hair up to hair down without a flat iron.5
Obviously these aren't very strong for hair - they're only for small ponytails, or pulling back a small portion of hair - not for a large pony for thick hair.
I actually put these over a sturdy hair tie for a fashion statement, and I've gotten TONS of compliments of how cute they look! Keeping them on my wrist is also super fun and they draw attention! I really love them, but wish they weren't so expensive :/
I really liked these hair ties because they didn't hold so hard that your ponytail hurts after a few hours. Also, a huge plus-they don't make a kink in your hair! The only downside is they don't get very tight unless you wrap them many times around your pony.3
In the last couple of years, I have noticed lots of breakage around the hair closest to my hairline near my ears. I know this is from pulling it back with strong elastic bands. Which I often take out once a day due to a headache. The twistband have been an answer to my prayer. I use them when I need to pull my hair back for a couple of hours and when I want to take it out later....voila, no band lines from the hair tie. I love these and am starting to growth from those shorty hairs that were breaking from the other pony tail holders. These are worth it.5
The color of these are cute and I love this style to use for my hair, but they stretch out after the first use. I hope future ones have a better hold to them.5
These hairbands are cute but do stretch out easily which is a total bummer for how expensive they are. The colors are great though and double as a bracelet.3
Love twistband elastics! They're a little expensive, but they're one of the few elastics that don't crimp up my hair or rip it out accidentally.5
I really want to like these. I've bought them a few times now, but they stretch out so quickly, it's kind of a waste.3
It was a big fad last year, and I had a ton of these cute hair ties. Best part about these are that they make cute wrist accessories when you're not putting your hair up in a bun or pony.3
