Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
It looks homemade and cheap- I could have made this with elastic bands2
I got one in my Birchbox MONTHS ago and it has lasted me till now and still going strong. It's good to have a backup/alternate color!5
I was highly skeptical of this Birchbox sample. After all, it's a hair tie. What could make a hair tie different? Apparently, EVERYTHING. Everything this product advertises is true. It does look cute on the wrist. It does not cut off circulation. It does make the ponytail more sophisticated. It does hold a ponytail together without any tugging. And, even more than that, the twistband allows for a loose ponytail that suggests effortless grace without the danger of having your hair fall out of its tie and around your face. I love this product so much I'm buying sets for myself, my mother, my sister, and my best friend. It would also make a great stocking stuffer!5
No crease!I love these they are so handy and they look cute when their just sitting on you're wrist.5
Love these! I got one before through Birchbox and I love them! I need to buy them.5
Honestly Im not sure what the difference between these and Alex and Isabelle is...Ill decide which one I prefer depending on the longevity.5
The twistband is great if I had long hair, but I don't so I use it as a rubber band and the KNOT doesn't stay in.2
I have thick hair, and this product will absolutely not work! Way too weak for me.1
I've recieved one of these before from Birchbox, they aren't anything special2
They do still leave dents in my hair, it's not the size of the band, but how tight it needs to be to keep my hair in place that leaves the dent, I think. I do love the fun colors and the little knot is a cute detail that regular hair ties lack. It does look a little odd on the wrist though, where I usually keep a hair tie until later in the day when I get sick of having my hair down.3
