Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
It was ok. But basically it's just a hair elastic in a cute color with a random knot in it? It wasn't better at holding my hair than the black elastics I usually use - and since it's a lot more expensive, I think I'll pass.3
So, these are cute BUT they don't hold up my hair as well as a regular hair tie. I'll purchase a pack once I run out of my regular ties, but I don't know if I'll totally switch to these.3
Love, love, LOVE these! They're cute without being too young and I especially like being able to wear them on my wrist without the dreaded elastic mark. Super comfortable and they give my pony a little extra snazz.5
I really liked it but I tried to workout with it and was not successful. I have a little bit thicker/smooth hair and seemed to slip up when I was at my most active points in the routine. Still going to keep using and seems to cause less breakage damage!4
They slip out of my hair too easily. They are pretty though!4
I like it and think they're really cute hair ties but I have a lot of curly hair so I need really sturdy hair ties and these are not quite as sturdy as I would like. I do, however, love the color and the look of them.3
This was my second time trying the Twistband. I received one in my Birchbox a few months ago and thought it was just one of the ribbons that secures the smaller samples! It's an okay product-- it works as a hairband, though it gets pretty loose after a few uses. I did appreciate that it didn't cut off my blood circulation when I wore it on my wrist. I just don't really see myself ordering a pack and paying for shipping and all that, when I'm more than sure to lose them. That said, I did buy a knockoff set at Sephora that work about the same.2
I have very thick hair and find that either other hair elastics I'm either constantly re-tying the elastic, or tying it so tight it hurts my head! Surprisingly pleased with this product.4
I have really silky, fine hair and when I try to use this hairbow, it just doesn't stay in my hair, no matter how many times I tie it. :( Sad because I love the concept!2
The color of the twistband I received was pretty, but that's about all I liked about it. It did its job and tied my hair back, but the knot was easily tangled in my fine hair. They are also very overpriced for their quality. I could make these myself for a fraction of the cost. Although it did not work well for me, I would recommend them to someone who has thicker hair than myself.3
