Back in the day, we used to rock scrunchies like they were our job. But now that we’re grown-ups (kind of), it’s time to graduate to something a bit more sophisticated. These chic hair ties keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. Best of all, they look as good on our wrists as they do in our ponytail.
I'm mixed about it. i like the pop of color and that it's not a typical hair tie. but it really doesnt' hold my pony tail very well. still need to try it when my hair is in a braid.3
Annoyed and disappointed to the point of angry when I opened the box and found this as a sample! They are so cheep and cheesy looking. My kid could have made from excess trim from a sundress, cheep elastic tied in a knot!1
I love Twistband! Ever since I got one in my Birchbox a few months ago, I have been singing its praises to my friends...5
I thought it looked silly in my hair. Would be fine for a child or even a teenager, but not an adult (at least in bright blue, like the one I got). Also, it was too loose twisted around my hair twice, but I couldn't twist it a third time.2
I was really excited to try the twistband after reading about it, but after the first time wearing it, it snagged and stretched out more than expected. Not sure how it snagged b/c I didn't have on jewelry and it didn't catch on my nails.
I would like for it to stay in my hair better and not slide down. Not sure if adding something like that would cause it to leave indentions in the hair.
I will say that it does not leave indentions when I remove it, and for that I continue to wear it!
I don't see how these hair ties are better than the cheap Goody ones...2
I love these! They are so fashionable and I am so glad to have another color! They are expensive and hard to come by.5
I plan to purchase once the colors i want get back in stock. Im on the waitlist. btw i think i saw hayley williams of paramore using these hairbands. The bright neon yellow one. Jus sayin.5
I got a black one in a box from last year. I NEVER used that one. I think I would be more likely to use this one because it is a fun color, but we shall see. Its a nice concept, but I find them difficult to use and think they look strange in the hair with the random end hanging out. I prefer my little bands :( Would have MUCH rather have gotten the Tarte lip tint than this and they yucky smelly perfume3
I love the colors and the fact that they wont break/snap apart! Also, they left little to no crease in my hair. The Downside is the extra fabric that sticks out past the knot. I'll be ordeing some more to give myself a break from the plain old boring hair tie!!4
