Of all the beauty minefields out there, visible pores are one of the trickiest to dodge. Foundation alone doesn't do the trick, which is why we turn to this translucent balm to shrink the appearance of our pores. The silky, oil-free formula diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish, and it goes on sheer, leaving skin smoother and more even. We can use it as a primer in the mornings or as a touch-up treatment throughout the day. Perfect T-zone, here we come.
I liked the smell of this product, and was so excited about using it, but found that it made my skin look slightly chalky. After about three hours it started to flake off (I tried it at home so I could leave it on and see if the chalkiness went away). Since it may just not be a good fit for me, I'm going to pass the sample on to someone else to try.1
i have dry skin, no pores. i gave the sample to a friend who swears by it.1

Go with Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
U won't be let down
Not relevant to me. I don't use a primer I don't use any foundations just eye makeup2
I have relatively noticeable pores on my nose and cheeks and didn't see any difference after using.2
I had high hopes for this one. The feel of it was nice, I think it held my makeup on well. It did not minimize my pores in any way. Infact, I feel it made my skin look stretched and sunk into my lines, accentuating them.2
This product revealed the dryness of my skin under foundation. Not for ppl with dry skin.2
I have very dry skin so this just made my makeup look worse. However, my daughter who's skin is oily to normal swears by this product so it's a personal preference not a knock at the product itself.2
it feels nice on but didn't notice much of a difference from not using it2
I was excited to get this in my box because I've been wanting to try this product for a long time, but I just never got around to purchasing it. As a person with oily skin and large pores, I was hoping that Porefessional would be the miracle primer that so many people claim it to be. Unfortunately, after using this, I noticed absolutely no difference compared to applying no primer whatsoever. I also tried this on one half of my face and a different primer (that does not claim to reduce pore size) on the other half, and the Porefessional side actually looked worse. I'm happy for the ppl that this product works for, but unfortunately I am not one of them.2
