Of all the beauty minefields out there, visible pores are one of the trickiest to dodge. Foundation alone doesn't do the trick, which is why we turn to this translucent balm to shrink the appearance of our pores. The silky, oil-free formula diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish, and it goes on sheer, leaving skin smoother and more even. We can use it as a primer in the mornings or as a touch-up treatment throughout the day. Perfect T-zone, here we come.
I wasn't as crazy about this as most other reviewers. It didn't do a great job minimizing my pores, and actually by the end of the day, I think it sunk into my pores and made them look larger.3
I have gotten this before from another beauty box and just was not impressed with it.3
This was nice to use, helped with my pores, don't think I'll buy one though since I'm not worried about my pores.3
While I do think this primer worked well, it didn't seem to react with my moisturizer well. When I put it on it would kind of pill and flake off.3
For the sake of an honest review I have to say off the bat that I don't use primers so I have little to compare it against. With that disclaimer out of the way...I liked the way this product went on smoothly and initially made a visible difference in my pore size. I have enlarged pores and I have heard once they become enlarged you are pretty much a lifer unless you can splurge for laser treatments or peels, therefore, I really don't waste time trying to change that outside of cleansing and using masks. Well, I was happy to see that this primer left my skin looking smooth, almost like I had used a really good filter on my phone or airbrushed it. Sadly after I applied the rest of my make up it soon disappeared (or maybe my monster pores just sucked it up!). I could see my pores again within a half hr although I do have to say they looked a bit smaller. Bottom line is I wouldn't spend my own money or time on this product, but if primers are something you like I would recommend it.3
I like pore minimizers that are serums too, and this is a nice serum. I need to try this a bit longer to really know how I like it. If I buy it, it will of course be from Birch box.3
I didn't see to much difference in look, but makeup was easier to apply and my skin felt smoother3
It works pretty good if you don't put foundation on over it, otherwise it all looks the same3
Didn't really enjoy this sample. Texture is very powdery like, didn't spread very well, so died feel any effect on the skin. Felt more like it would clog pores than prime them!3
I was worried this would dry out my skin, but it didn't. I don't have large pores though, so I really didn't notice that it did anything. It's not good, not bad... just not something I can see adding to my beauty routine.3
