Of all the beauty minefields out there, visible pores are one of the trickiest to dodge. Foundation alone doesn't do the trick, which is why we turn to this translucent balm to shrink the appearance of our pores. The silky, oil-free formula diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish, and it goes on sheer, leaving skin smoother and more even. We can use it as a primer in the mornings or as a touch-up treatment throughout the day. Perfect T-zone, here we come.
It is a great primer! I'm not sure how much it minimizes my pores, but a great base for your makeup3
This face primer goes on nice and smooth. I liked it!3
While I was a fan of my makeup staying firmly in place, I was very underwhelmed by its pore refining abilities and overall texture of the product. I have found a similar, if not better performance from lower priced drug store brands. As a fan of the brand itself, I was left disappointed.3
I received a sample of this product. It's nice and I might buy it in the future.3
I have received this product several times in my Birchbox now. With sensitive skin I can only use one line of skin care. I didn't find this product covered my pores.3
I've used a lot of primers/pore fillers and they all seemed fairly similar. Not worth the price tag for me but not a bad product3
I like this product for an occasional use but not for long term. I say that because it makes your pores disappear in the moment, but it's only gratifying in the moment, and only makes pores worse over time.3
I have tried one other pore filler in the past and this filler from benefit had the same effect. It fills pores well and does provide a good base that allows for a more finished look after foundation is applied. However, it dries out my skin. I have the same problem with most foundations that have a long list of ingredients and/or SPF. So, this product may work for some, just not for me. I love the Benefit packages/theme but have so far only found two products to my liking.3
I just don't really love it. I don't think it makes a difference in wear, it's pretty typical of a silicon based primer and is fairly expensive for something I don't notice. I've been using it to make sure I get my money's worth and putting it only on my t zone, which gets quite oily. I can't wait to finish this so I can start trying out other primers.3
I have tried the sample of this primer twice and honestly did not notice a difference at all. I have a primer that I use, but only on special occasions. I applied it beneath my mineral-based makeup, and felt like more was absorbing into my fingertips than my face. By the end of the day, my makeup (and pores) looked the same as normal (sans primer).3
