Of all the beauty minefields out there, visible pores are one of the trickiest to dodge. Foundation alone doesn't do the trick, which is why we turn to this translucent balm to shrink the appearance of our pores. The silky, oil-free formula diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish, and it goes on sheer, leaving skin smoother and more even. We can use it as a primer in the mornings or as a touch-up treatment throughout the day. Perfect T-zone, here we come.
I found this product to be just okay for filling in pores. There are other products out there that are much less expensive than this and you can buy them at the drugstore. I have used pore fillers for as long as they have been available and I just am not impressed with this brand. It doesn't take long for the product to soak into the pores and all of a sudden you have big pores again. Just not for me.3
this was super-easy to put on and makes pores look smaller just like it says. the only downside was I thought it was slightly greasy to the touch after it has been on.3
Not bad..takes a bit to dry down, and i dont use it that much because i usually use powder and it goes on cakey with dry patches for me in some spots3
I tried this in the past and had a horrible time with it. It would make my makeup slide off my face. I have since found a better setting powder (and foundation, actually) so I figured I would give it another go. I only pressed it into the skin in a few areas, it actually looked pretty good - I have large pores on and along the sides of my nose. Everywhere else is pretty much unnoticeable - but the ones I have are huge and ugly. Anyway, I got it to somewhat mask the pores, more so than not, it looked good and not like they were filled. I made sure to only pat the product into the pore like I have seen on YouTube etc....this was a bad idea for me in the long run. I have acne prone skin, thus the large pores....it's a catch 22....patting it into the skin is pushing it into the pores and I ended up with a huge cyst on the side of my nose for about 2 weeks after using this. It was one that was deep under the skin so you really couldn't see it, but it hurt regardless and took forever to shrink down and eventually go away. Second time around....yeah, learned my lesson. I don't like this product. It didn't work well enough for me to have raved about it anyway, and anything that causes acne let along PAIN on my face I have to say - stay far far away from me!3
I am a huge fan of Benefit and think their prices are fair based on quality and quantity. However, I find that I have more blackheads after using this product. While it does what is says - it does minimize pores, on me - it seems to clog them.3
Made my makeup a little too flat and cake-y. I try to let my actual skin be seen through my makeup and this make my foundation a little heavier than I like3
I love benefit, but this product didn't hit the spot for me. I have really oily skin, so that could be a reason why? It just didn't keep me smooth looking like everyone else says3
Love the feel of the product and how silky smooth it feels on my skin. I can't really say if it minimized the appearance of pores all that much. There might have been a slight difference but nothing super noticeable to me3
It was nothing great. My skin is on the dryer side and I have large pore and I felt like it just sat in my pores. If anything i felt like it made then stand out more and it would cling to my dry skin. I used it on a friend who had combination skin and it sat very well on her skin so I guess it's depending on the person.3
This product did not work for me. I love most of Benefit Cosmetics, but this made my foundation look cakey. I think it might be due to my aging skin.3
