Of all the beauty minefields out there, visible pores are one of the trickiest to dodge. Foundation alone doesn't do the trick, which is why we turn to this translucent balm to shrink the appearance of our pores. The silky, oil-free formula diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish, and it goes on sheer, leaving skin smoother and more even. We can use it as a primer in the mornings or as a touch-up treatment throughout the day. Perfect T-zone, here we come.
Covers well but was hard to put powder on top after applying the pore primer.3
I really wanted to like this product and I have friends who love and swear by it, but I think it depends on how much coverage you need. I have some acne scars that I needed to cover up and I was hoping Porefessional could do the job. All it did was really provide a smoother surface for the foundation but couldn't do a good job as a standalone product.
I understand that this is the purpose of the product (primer) but I was hoping it would provide better coverage for my skin.
I like this primer a lot, although it tends to clog my pores. My foundation goes on smoothly and flawlessly when i use this product.3
By far this is one of my ehh primers. I defiantly blurs the appearance of large pores however since my pores aren't even noticeable the product sort of just sat on the top of my face. Since it just sort of sat on the top of my face my tinted moisturizer slipped and moved around. The primer isn't really for long wear more just to minimize the appearance of pores. Not to mention but the product was also slightly greasy.3
It was pretty good as a primer! I did see a difference in the size of my pores. It didn't make my skin too oily or anything. Overall, it was pretty good as a primer.3
the face primer did go nicely onto my face and didn't really leave any sort of oily feel, but it also didn't really seem like it was doing much. i don't think i would buy it again, but it was nice to use when i did have the small sample version. it might also been because i did not use it very often.3
This product did not impress me as it did for others. It made my skin look and feel very dry3
I really didn't see it hide enlarged pores. My skin looks about the same with or without it. I wanted to like this but I just don't think it's really worth the extra effort!3
I received this as a sample. It is a product that really works well for minimizing pore size. It won't work on the really large pores - although it does minimize them somewhat. I find that it kind of settles into fine lines, so not really that great for minimizing fine lines. It is nice under foundation when you are trying for a flawless look. A little goes a very long way, so the price is fair, in my opinion. It isn't something that I must wear, but when I have it, it is a nice addition to the rest of the makeup.3
I am usually a huge fan of Benefit products but I had a lot of issues with this sample. The color was almost unnaturally yellow and didn't seem to blend in with my skin at all. I have larger pores on my nose and instead of helping to conceal them, it looked like I still had the large pores but attempted to cover them with cheap concealer that streaked. I could never quite get this to blend well and couldn't cover it well with makeup. I'm not sure I would try it again although I like the concept.3
