Of all the beauty minefields out there, visible pores are one of the trickiest to dodge. Foundation alone doesn't do the trick, which is why we turn to this translucent balm to shrink the appearance of our pores. The silky, oil-free formula diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish, and it goes on sheer, leaving skin smoother and more even. We can use it as a primer in the mornings or as a touch-up treatment throughout the day. Perfect T-zone, here we come.
I wasn't impressed with this product. It does make your skin silky smooth but doesn't stay on. For the price I want something that's going to work.2
I don't like the consistency of this this product. I felt like between using a foundation and also using this pore minimizer, my face was too cakey. I would prefer a more lightweight and cleaner feeling pore minimizer. And for the price, I can get a product like that from Laura Mercier.2
I have used so many different pore products and primers
that I only now just got to using this sample.
It feels gross and greasy. I once used a unusual product as a primer that was all the rage ( Monistat chaffing jel). It is the same exact ingredient just at 10 times the cost of
To top off the gross feeling it has on my skin I do not
see any noticable difference in pore size.
I didn't notice anything special with this primer. I tried to make it work but it doesn't want to work for me so I gave up and gave it to my sister. She loves it. Oh FYI I have oily skin my sister does not.2
I didn't get this in my box, but I ordered the sample based on the description. I was expecting something that actually made my pores smaller, and this product doesn't do that. It's really just a concealer. It's not what I expected, so I'm disappointed.2
maybe it's because i have extremely dry skin, but this product did not work for me at all. my skin just looked cracked and dry as soon as i put foundation on. i did what i could with it for the night but when i removed my makeup i noticed i had little bumps all over my forehead.
this is probably just my skin being super sensitive, but i now i'm definitely cautious before using any primer.
I enjoyed the texture of this product a very soft and "buttery" feeling. it was very soft and my foundation blended over the top effortlessly. However, I have extremely oily skin and after about an hour or two, my foundation started slip and sliding down my face. In addition, pigment began to transfer to anything that come in contact with my face.2
I was very pleased when I saw the packaging of this product and was anxious to try it. I was also pleasantly surprised by the texture and the smell (lack of?) of the cream. Unfortunately, I did not see any noticeable difference by hiding pores. The only thing I noticed was a few minutes after I had put it on my skin there would be a slight peeling. Maybe it just wasn't working well with my moisturizer, but I would not purchase this product.2
I was not very impressed with this product. My sample came with the product separated and when I tried using it, all that came out was oil. I had to shake it vigorously and when I finally used it, I really was not all too impressed.2
While I generally like Benefit cosmetics, their skin care doesn't agree with me and The POREfessional was no exception. It felt great going on, but three days in to using it, the red splotches started to appear.2
