Of all the beauty minefields out there, visible pores are one of the trickiest to dodge. Foundation alone doesn't do the trick, which is why we turn to this translucent balm to shrink the appearance of our pores. The silky, oil-free formula diffuses pores and fine lines for an airbrushed finish, and it goes on sheer, leaving skin smoother and more even. We can use it as a primer in the mornings or as a touch-up treatment throughout the day. Perfect T-zone, here we come.
I'm not sure this product really worked. Don't think it reduced my pores.2
I typically LOVE Benefit, but this just isn't my thing. I don't use anything like this and felt like it was covering my pores by adding more gunk to them. It's just not something I'd add to my makeup regimen.2
I really don't understand the hype with this product. It didn't make a difference in the lasting power of my foundation, nor did it fill in or minimize the appearance of my pores. My makeup was still settling in my pores at the end of the day even when using this. I saw NO difference from when I don't use primer.2
When I tried this product I didn't notice a difference in my pore size at all. The sample was very small and I couldn't apply it very many times to really see if the product worked for me or not.2
Silicone primers don't work for me, it never sets on my skin. After a couple of hours it looks horrible.2
I didn't find this product particularly effective. It may be just my skin and / or skin tone, but I didn't notice a significant difference in my skin or makeup after application.2
I absolutely loved this product. It stays on all day and it completely covers my pores. However, and I tested this twice without using any other new products, it definitely makes my face break out. This occasionally happens to me with new products, but not with every product. I used it for 4 days straight each time, and on the 4th day, bingo. Not good. I'd like a product that I can use every day. Otherwise, a great product.2
porefessional primer was the first primer i ever used on a regular basis. since then, however, primers have come a long way - color adjusting, illuminating, spf, etc. while the porefessional still does the job, i would rather use products that serve more than one purpose.2
I can't speak to whether or not this reduces pores, but I can say that this does the opposite of what you want a primer to do. Rather than make my foundation (Bobbi Brown) go on easier, it made it go on patchier. I am still looking for my go-to primer and this isn't it.2
I know nearly everyone loves the Porefessional, but it didn't stand out to me. I have combination skin, which was made greasier by this product, and I didn't notice a difference in the appearance of pores.2
