We don’t mean to sound like drama queens, but we’re carrying some serious under eye baggage. It’s a good thing we have this brightening concealer to erase the effects of late nights and little sleep. As the clever name suggests, the pink-toned fluid works like a mini eye lift to counteract dark circles and puffiness. We use it in the morning to fake looking well-rested, as well as at the end of the day to perk up our post-work day makeup.
I guess I don't really get this product. It does not conceal anything, it's just thin and shimmery. Not for me.2
This was one of my least favorite beauty products that I've ever purchased. After reading rave reviews, I decided to try it as I'm always willing to try a new under eye brighter. I've had dark circles due to allergies for years but will continue to use MAC or Nars under eye concealer. This pretty much does nothing if you truly have dark circles.1
I love Benefit -- they have so many great products. This was a bit disappointing however. I was looking for an under eye concealer. This put some light reflecting potion beneath my eyes but I wouldn't say it concealed the circles. Other Benefit products work better for that purpose in my opinion.2
This product is okay. The pink color hides some of the dark circles and works to reflect light but it is not a cure all. Cool cucumbers or cold tea still work better. This does not cover very dark circles and does not reduce puffiness.3
It doesn't have any concealing properties. It goes on nicely and only has a slight brightening effect.3
This definitely lightens the dark circles under my eyes, however it does not conceal. I use it before I put on my concealer under my eyes, because it brightens the appearance3
I'm a huge fan of the Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift but at $38, I thought I'd give this Benefit eye lift a try at $22 since I'm a huge fan of the Benefit They're Real Mascara. I have to say that I'm very disappointed in this product. It goes on so thin (and I have tan skin) that I don't notice a difference. It definitely does not give the same brightness as the Trish McEvoy product, and I don't even have dark circles. I'm going to go back to Trish and wouldn't order this again. Perhaps the product might work better on someone with more fair skin. But I can't imagine that it will provide any coverage for dark circles.3
Let me begin by saying, I'm a HUGE fan of Benefit cosmetics. I read reviews about the Ooh La Lift and thought it would be a great purchase.
Sadly, this was not the case. I'm pretty disappointed. This product doesn't "lift" nor does it really brighten my skin, at all and I don't really have dark eye issues, so I can only imagine that it would be even more disappointing for others that do. I have tried applying the product with and without makeup with still, no visual differences. It's just like putting makeup on my face that makes no difference, at all.
I'm pretty disappointed and will be returning this product.
I was really hoping this product would be great-but I honestly can't see any benefit in using it. In my opinion, this product made the skin under my eyes too light, and almost made me look more tired, not the look I am going for! I plan on returning it, as I don't see myself using it again.3
I was expecting something a little more light reflecting, but this seemed to do a decent job. I don't have super dark under eyes, but I have little dark spots in the outer corner of my eyes. I don't like using foundation or concealer because I have aging skin, and those make my creases look worse. This stuff does not show my creases, which is really nice! If you are looking for something that doesn't conceal dark circles, but something that blurs the dark circles, this product is for you!4
