Whether you call it a tuque, a bobcap, or just a plain beanie, the knit cap has been the go-to headwear for working guys since ships had sails. Spur your inner stevedore with this knit watchman’s cap, designed to keep you warm in winter without making a scene. Because we can’t imagine Ahab in a hunter’s cap either.
I wear mine primarily to the gym. It's great also dressed up though and the label is not intrusive. I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on how the material or color holds up. This should look great on any dude!5
After the winter we endured this past season, I got a lot of use out of this hat. Great feel, above average warmth, and the solid color allowed for comfort in any setting.4
This is a great everyday beanie with a clean, classic look and feel that transitions from work to play without missing a beat.
Soft and comfortable from the first time I pulled it on; it kept my head and ears warm through the brutal winter this year and quickly became my favourite... until the tragic day it fell out of my pocket and was lost to the subway.
Definitely something I will pick up again for the 2015 season.
I really like the way this hat looks, and it is a good cheap alternative to a cashmere hat. One thing that wasn't the greatest was the material used to make this hat isn't organic (wool, cotton, etc..) so it's not exactly the warmest.4
I received a Roosevelt hat with my December Birchbox shipment and have worn it almost daily for the four months since. It is just now starting to show signs of wear. Just a little bit of pilling, but still looking good. Will probably last me through next winter easily and I'd say I'm giving it a pretty hard time. I'll likely buy a replacement in another year or two once I finally destroy it. QUALITY, quality product.5
This knit cap is warm and cozy. I got the gray version and it pairs well with my outerwear. Came in handy with all this snow this past winter and into early spring!5
This is a quality beanie that I would use, I like that it is nondescript and does not floss a large logo or something loud. Its perfect for lounging and keeping your head warm. Functional and knitted well4
With "global warming," one might not think something like this watch cap would be useful in Texas. However, this winter was brutally cold, and I was very happy to have this hat. It is soft and very warm. And of course wool is perfect for wet weather, and doesn't lose it's warmth when wet. I love this hat. A coup when it appeared in my box!5
It kept my head warm all winter and was small enough that I could stick it in my jacket pocket when I wasn't using it. Definitely worth adding to your winter gear collection.4
This hat does a great job keeping my head warm, but I have found that it is a bit itchy and feels too tight - like it'll roll off of my head.3
