Whether you call it a tuque, a bobcap, or just a plain beanie, the knit cap has been the go-to headwear for working guys since ships had sails. Spur your inner stevedore with this knit watchman’s cap, designed to keep you warm in winter without making a scene. Because we can’t imagine Ahab in a hunter’s cap either.
i lvoe this cap...it came at the right trime and kepes my ears, face and head warm...great material. big big fan.
My fiance got the light grey color. I laughed because he called it a "tobagan". He got a lot of use out of it since we had a harsh winter.5
Just what I was looking for for a simple gift, or a needed surprise for the right gentleman. He loved it and it served a purpose as well,5
I'm conflicted about this one, gang. On the one hand, it arrived at just the right time: my wife got me this subscription for Christmas - JUST about when two months of snow and ice hit the northeast. So I got plenty of time to test-drive this thing.
And hey, it's a quality hat. Doesn't fall off your head, doesn't slip up off the ears too much, keeps it warm, you know. Does hat things.
But you probably have a beanie/skullcap/tuque/etc. already and it's probably worked for you just as well as this thing will, so while it was a welcome addition to my first box, I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it on its own.
How many black beanies do I own? Who knows! But this little guy appears to be just a standard black beanie... in fact, it's actually quite warm and a perfect fit!4
My man is a fireman, and this came in his Birchbox. It immediately became a staple in cold weather bag. It has helped keep his head warm during non-helmet calls in the coldest winter we have had in a long time! It fits well, keeps you warm, and is stylish!5
I am not one to wear a knit cap but nonetheless thought I should still give it a review. While it does keep my noggin warm, it is just your plain simple beanie nothing extraordinary about it.2
Tightly knit hat and keep you warm, cant ask for more. I would suggest this hat for someone looking. Roosevelt Supply never lets me down4
I wear a beanie all winter, so I'm always on the look out for a new one that I like. Unfortunately, this is not the one. The material feels stiff and unnatural, but maybe I am just spoiled by marino wool. My girlfriend likes it, though. I gave it to her.3
I got a big heads so it doesn't fit real well. It is a nice color and weave of fabric, it's just made for little headed dudes
