In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I put some on my lips and one cheek. I couldn't notice the difference between cheeks really. It was very subtle. If you put enough on your lips, eventually it will look naturally more pink/red.1
Perhaps I need to wear a layer of foundation before using this, but the blush just sank right into my skin and didn't do much. It actually left it kind of irritated, and I don't have sensitive skin. Maybe it works better on the lips, but definitely sample this before buying.1
Perhaps I need a good layer of foundation on, but I didn't see much of a difference when I tried this as a blush. It just sank into my skin and made it irritated. The liquid concept is interesting though, and maybe it works better on the lips, so definitely sample before buying.1
I feel like everyone and their mom already has 2-3 samples of this product so I was not that excited to see it arrive in my birchbox. I do not even use my samples of the benetint that much. I like regular powder blush much better.1
The product really stays and is not as bright on the skin as it is in the bottle.1
Too runny - feels odd on my skin. Maybe my coloring is just different or I applied it wrong, but every time I tried this product it looked bad on me.1
I have oily skin so I do not care for these type of products to stain my cheeks also I do not care for the color for my lips as well this is just a personal preference though1
This product may be better for cheeks but as a lip tint not so much ... I needed to apply it about 4 times before seeing any kind of color and there was more on my finger than my lips. Maybe I didn't let it dry (#impatient) but the taste was horrible.1
This was too runny to put on my cheeks once I have my foundation on. It's a pretty color- but I don't like the watery formula. Also didn't like how it felt on my lips.1
The pigment did not show up on my skin but when I applied a lot, it would but very very light.1
