In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
As a 50+ woman, this is not the kind of lip product I need, but I can say that the color is great.4
I love the color and the hint of color it leaves on my lips. I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet. The color doesn't last very long, but it goes on so smoothly that reapplications don't feel icky. Nice product for everyday use.4
When I saw the color of Benetint, I expected it to be a lot brighter. It is actually quite natural looking which I prefer. It's a nice way to control how saturated you want the color to be. Works really nice on the cheeks.4
Benetint is a great lip stain, but I shy away from using it on my checks. Love the scent to it also!4
You can start light and get darker just by applying more layers, and I love that you can use it on your lips OR cheeks. Though I would definitely used a different brush when it comes to blending, or your pads of your fingers. Great overall product. Only gave 4 stars since it's not that long lasting, but is a great product overall.4
I really like the concept of this product. It smells like roses, but does not taste bad or anything. My only gripe about this product was that using it in the winter when your lips get dry is not the best time to use this product. I have little cracks in my lip from the cold weather that no amount of chapstick can fix and the tint tends to seep into the cracks and excencuate them. Otherwise I loved it, and I liked the build able factor.4
I like this product a lot. its very versatile since you determine how dark or light you want it to be on you. its
very pretty and gives a nice pop of color esp during these winter months.
Benefit's tint is great for a light, rosy hue on my cheeks. I mostly wear on the weekends when I want a more casual look. It's also great for the lips - a natural stain-like look. A little goes a long way.4
i've used benetint for years. it's really great way to get a natural-looking flush of color on your cheeks and lips, like you were just outside in a cold wind (without the cold). i've layered it on my lips for deeper color and it doesn't flake off or feel weird. it also smells really great4
I really liked the color and texture of this. I was expecting it to be sticky but it was like water and colored my lips great!4
