In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I was so excited to receive this product in my Birchbox! I was originally intimidated by the dark coloring of the bottle and worried that I would look like a clown after application. It took me a few tries to get the right pigmentation that I wanted, but after a few days, I got the hang of it. I really feel like a little bit of this product goes a long way!4
I didn't used to be a fan of lip stains, but this product is slowly changing my mind. It looks a lot more natural then traditional lipsticks and it feels lightweight too!4
I liked the effect this product had, but it was almost drying to my lips. I had to reapply lip balm several times throughout the day. Good color and easy to apply.4
i like this ok for my cheeks, but I LOVE it on my lips. I dab it on my lips in the am for long-lasting natural looking color, and follow up with a moisturizing balm. Lasts a long time!4
This is a great product for long-lasting, natural looking lip color. It's dry, but cover with lip balm.4
Just when I was starting to feel the pale skin winter blues, this arrived in my box! It was just the little oomph I needed to add some color to my face. A few quick dabs on the cheek bones and a quick blend was all I needed.4
As a 50+ woman, this is not the kind of lip product I need, but I can say that the color is great.4
I love the color and the hint of color it leaves on my lips. I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet. The color doesn't last very long, but it goes on so smoothly that reapplications don't feel icky. Nice product for everyday use.4
When I saw the color of Benetint, I expected it to be a lot brighter. It is actually quite natural looking which I prefer. It's a nice way to control how saturated you want the color to be. Works really nice on the cheeks.4
Benetint is a great lip stain, but I shy away from using it on my checks. Love the scent to it also!4
