In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I really like the concept of this product. It smells like roses, but does not taste bad or anything. My only gripe about this product was that using it in the winter when your lips get dry is not the best time to use this product. I have little cracks in my lip from the cold weather that no amount of chapstick can fix and the tint tends to seep into the cracks and excencuate them. Otherwise I loved it, and I liked the build able factor.4
I like this product a lot. its very versatile since you determine how dark or light you want it to be on you. its
very pretty and gives a nice pop of color esp during these winter months.
Benefit's tint is great for a light, rosy hue on my cheeks. I mostly wear on the weekends when I want a more casual look. It's also great for the lips - a natural stain-like look. A little goes a long way.4
i've used benetint for years. it's really great way to get a natural-looking flush of color on your cheeks and lips, like you were just outside in a cold wind (without the cold). i've layered it on my lips for deeper color and it doesn't flake off or feel weird. it also smells really great4
I really liked the color and texture of this. I was expecting it to be sticky but it was like water and colored my lips great!4
I like the color of this product, and enjoyed the ease of use. I did not like that my lips felt dry after using. While I like this product, i probably will not purchase because of the high price.4
I am not a huge fan of these cheek/lip stains but Benetint is definitely the best one I've tried thus far. Definitely recommend if you are in the market for one of these! Also smells like roses!4
love how it stains your lips for at least 8 hours! love the color - looks natural pink/red on my lips.
the only drawback is that it is not moisturizing, so you will have to apply a different product on top of it like lip balm or lip gloss. But it works for me since my lips become dry throughout the day and I have to use my lip balm often anyway. great product!
The product does smell strongly of roses but I actually like the smell. I was a little scares to use a liquid blush but it doesn't gone on dark and you have time to rub it in before it dries. Definitely need to put a couple coats but it is pretty subtle and you can't smell it once it dries.4
I've always wanted to try this but have been scared off by the color and the full size price. Really liked this as a cheek and lip stain. A little went a long way for my fair skin and be sure to blend immediately after application, otherwise the color will be uneven and stick to the dry parts.4
