In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
Love this for blush and lips! I just do a cheesy smile and then dab a dot in the center of my bubbled cheeks and then lightly rub towards my hair line. Its FABULOUS!5
I seriously love this stuff. I received this as a sample in the January box. I wasn't a huge fan of using this on my lips as a lip stain, mainly because I have very chapped lips and it did not flatter me. However, I LOVE LOVE LOVE (did I say love?) this as a cheek stain. I put it on in the morning over my foundation and it staid until I washed my face at night. I purchased IMMEDIATELY.5
This will be a great spare for my purse. Love this stuff.5
I love Benetint! I like multi purpose products and this works well on the lips and as a blush. One coat gives a natural color and you can build up from there. The full size lasts forever! I don't even remember when I bought it, and it's only half gone even with frequent use (though I don't use it EVERY day).5
I wasn't very impressed with the pigmentation. There are so many lip and cheek products out right now that this one seemed very lackluster. I have to use a lot of the product to get any color at all on my skin, and I am very fair skinned.1
Benetint is one of those products that I'd seen in magazines a million times over and always thought "gee, I'd like to try this..." Well, I got a gift card for the holidays and figured I'd splurge.
I'm so glad I did. It gives a gorgeous flush to my lips. The color reminds me of the lips of girls in pre-Raphaelite paintings. So romantic! Plus, the rose smell is heavenly. My boyfriend did tell me I smelled like the bad guy in "The Hunger Games," but I don't even care.
I've also used Benetint (sparingly) on my cheeks. While it is a bit daunting to paint red liquid on one's face, it blends well and **SO FAR** has not caused my hyper-sensitive skin to erupt in pimples. I was a bit concerned about acne due to the fragrance and the fact that the brush comes in contact with "mouth bacteria," but so far, so good!
I LOVE benefit cosmetics and have been wanting to try this! Once I get the hang of how to use it, I think it will be amaze!3
I've always wanted to try this but have been scared off by the color and the full size price. Really liked this as a cheek and lip stain. A little went a long way for my fair skin and be sure to blend immediately after application, otherwise the color will be uneven and stick to the dry parts.4
I really love this product! It is the perfect tint for lips and is long lasting. I apply before leaving the house and then top with chap stick. I love it!5
This product works best as a natural looking blush. I don't really recommend using it as a lip tint because it has a weird taste.5
