In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
It smells so wonderful. When my lips arent hydrated it lsaves a weird lipliner effect on my lips but i found it very versatile5
I already own this product. It's rad. Thankful for the travel size.5
This stuff stays on ALL DAY. I love wearing BB cream and a few dots of this stuff on my cheeks and lips. simple and easy!5
Seems like a cool product and I like the shade. Bad smell, tho3
I really like the color. It seems hard to spread though. The color seems to stay on all day. I havent tried to use it as lip color yet4
The color was a little tricky to get even some times but it was a nice color. The biggest problem I had was that the color wanted to stay great on the outside edges of my mouth but the fill in area came off fairly quickly. when I reapplied the outside would then be more saturated them the rest.3
My daughter and I both tried this product to give it a fair shot at a decent review but it failed for both of us. I compare this product to the fake blood you buy during Halloween... Tried as lip pigment and lets just say don't lick your lips...blah! Not to mention it does not stay on.1
This product was much easier to use than I expected, and a little goes a long way. I like layering the tint on my lips to create various shades of red.4
It was super bright on my cheeks but it didn't fade like my normal blush and I love it for stain on my lips! It adds that nice extra pop!4
I was dubious about painting my face with stuff that looks like it's in a nail polish bottle, but okay, I'm open-minded. The tint didn't show up on my lips. On my cheeks it's a nice blush but you have to be VERY light-handed with it if you have light skin. It kind of looks like I just finished a bottle of wine, my cheeks are so flushed. Also, it stings the skin a bit. I may use this as a blush occasionally IF it doesn't break me out, which it very well may. But on my lips it's just sticky and doesn't show any color.3
