In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I love this product because it's a two in one. Its a perfect shade of pink for my lips. My first few times using it as a cheek tint was intimidating, but once you get used it, it's amazing. I don't like a lot of lipglosses or lipstick, nor do I like liquid foundations/ blush, but this is an exception. The texture is like water and your skin soaks it right up. It doesn't feel like you have anything on.5
I'm always looking for a way to keep my lip color longer. I put this on my lips before I apply my lipstick. Then if my lipstick wears off my lips are already stained.5
I really wanted to like this product because I've seen it displayed and talked about often. However, I found it very difficult to achieve a natural looking cheek tint, and it also felt as if it dried out my lips. I gave it to my 17 year old niece. Just very disappointed in the performance of this product.
This stains lips to the most perfect natural red! It also smells SO good! Would highly recommend because it lasts a good amount of time.5
When ever I use this product it makes me feel great about myself! I don't feel caked with makeup!! I really enjoy using this!!'5
I really was excited to try this product, however, I was disappointed. Provides almost no color & it does not stay on long AT ALL2
I went back and forth on purchasing this for a while after reading mixed reviews. I tried it in-store and then went for it and I'm so glad I did. I have fair skin with freckles and this pairs perfectly with my BB cream for lighter makeup days and makes for a great mid-day blush refresh on days when I wear more coverage foundation. It lasts a good 4-5 hours and is beautifully buildable.
I haven't fully committed to wearing it on my lips, but I swiped it on once and I felt them dry out pretty quickly. I would imagine it pairs well with a balm or gloss.
My friend had bought some several years ago. Works great! The only thing I didn't care for was the taste but nothing a flavored lip gloss can't take care of.5
This stuff is pure GOLD. It leaves a natural, flushed look on cheeks and perks up bland lips. It doesn't make you look made-up, just brings out your cheeks and lips in a flattering, natural way. It's light and moist, so it doesn't dry you out either. A little bit goes a long way so it's beyond worth it!5
I use this every day on the balls of my cheeks and my lips. Provides just enough, but not too much, natural looking tint.5
