In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
The stain completely dried out my lips and was a pain to take off. A little too deep of a pink for my cheeks as well. Definitely not for me.2
I really enjoy this product. The color is great and you can apply one coat for natural tint and layer it up for a brighter contrast. The only thing I would change is the applicator, I usually use a swab to apply it because the brush is unbearably ticklish!4
I love this stuff. Looks natural and stays all day. Give ur skin a nice tint. Can be used on lips as well5
I should have known better. I bought this years ago and forgot how many application I needed to have any color show at all. The only one of this kind of product from Benefit is Cha Cha Tint. That actually does show. No, I won't ever buy again.2
It looks bright in the bottle but it is the perfect color on the cheeks and lips. I love using this knowing that it is going to last all day.
I really like this lip/cheek stain. It dries really quickly. Be careful, especially on cheeks, to use a very small amount and blend it quickly because it dries very quickly. The first time I used it, I was left looking like a clown because I used too much and didn't blend quickly enough!!5
I don't recommend use this product for cheeks because it is drying in seconds, you don't blend it very fast and receive stains. For lips it is perfect, you'll have very natural color.4
I hav been using this product for years and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. It gives a great natural flush that last all day long. One bottle last forever5
This benetint came in a package of 3 with 2 other amazing tints. they work really well not only for my face but for my lips too!4
Lip and cheek stain - I'd say yes to the cheeks not so sure to the lips. I used this as a rouge mixing it with a bit of moisturizer which worked like a charm. For the lips, it did not really work for me. Maybe my lips are too dry, not so sure. The tint did not cover well on my lips. I'm going to try mixing with a gloss, but I also am not a fan of how it is applied to the lips. I suppose I am just accustomed to using a gloss or lipstick.3
