In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
this is great, good color. took 3 layers to achieve a nice color on lips; one on cheeks. the only thing i didnt love was the strong rose scent5
Benetint is, by far, my favorite stain out there. I only use stain on my lips, and this gives me the perfect amount of naturally flushed red that I'm looking for. Later for more intense color!5
I don't wear blush, so I've only used this as a lip color. I absolutely love the color. It's subtle, so it's really just gives lips a sun-kissed look. The only draw back is that I haven't found a way to make the color last as long as I want it to. It requires a lot of reapplication.4
It is so natural looking and adds warmth to your face. This is a must wear whenever I put on my makeup in the morning.5
I LOVE this tint. I'd heard so much hype about it but wasn't sure how it would look on me as it looks very red and I have extremely fair skin. I looks gorgeous though. Much more sheer than I thought and it looks so natural on my skin, like I'm not wearing anything. It looks gorgeous on my lips too and it also smells amazing. Really amazing product and I highly recommend it!5
I know most people are crazy about this product, but I find it to barely show up on my skin (and I'm pretty fair), plus it only lasts for about 5 minutes. I've just found other stains I like a lot more!2
I love that this smells like roses. However, I am not entirely sure I am using it right. It looks good when I immediately put it on but seems to fade really quickly.4
I have this and I have tried it twice and I didn't like it. Gave it to my daughter and she loved it.2
Pro: This tint adds an matte glow to your lips and cheeks. I
like how it goes on light, and you can build for more coverage.
Cons: It tends to bleed into the inner rim of my lips and goes into my mouth.
Tips: lightly dab it on your lips and use a tissue to catch the excess
I love this product. It goers on smooth and absorbs quickly without being overly thick. You can use it on your lips or checks and gives a nice, faint color.5
