In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
This benetint came in a package of 3 with 2 other amazing tints. they work really well not only for my face but for my lips too!4
Lip and cheek stain - I'd say yes to the cheeks not so sure to the lips. I used this as a rouge mixing it with a bit of moisturizer which worked like a charm. For the lips, it did not really work for me. Maybe my lips are too dry, not so sure. The tint did not cover well on my lips. I'm going to try mixing with a gloss, but I also am not a fan of how it is applied to the lips. I suppose I am just accustomed to using a gloss or lipstick.3
I'm not crazy about this AT ALL. I love light make up looks, but this looks like I am wearing NOTHING. Awful taste. I use it if I have nothing else.2
I love this product, but not for my lips. I love to use it in my cheeks in a full make up or alone just to give a healthy color. Since I bought it I stopped using powder blush.4
Great on the lips and pretty good on cheeks. I mostly keep it to lips. It builds up well and lasts pretty long, though not all day.5
I loved his color but found it difficult to blend into a natural shape and finish on my face. I could spend more time working it in but I was hoping for a product that was more blendable.3
I've been using Benetint for about a year and it's a product I can see myself purchasing again and again. It gives that perfect Snow White flush to the cheeks and a really lovely "I've been eating strawberries" color on the lips. It makes me look healthier even when I'm not feeling great. Definitely would recommend.5
I love benetints. I have an extra in my closet because I can't live without it!5
I never did get the hang of this cult favorite. I always looked like I smeared my face with food coloring, which might actually be one of the ingredients of this product. Oh, and if it drips on your shirt...good luck getting that out.3
Loved this lip stain. Didn't use it on my cheeks - too afraid I couldn't get the color evenly disbursed - but worked great for lips. Perfect sample size, but full-size almost seems too big - and too expensive for me.4
