In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
Very very cool product. I love that it enhances your natural lip color. Use it quickly or it will stain places you don't want color. I use it to layer lip colors, it's a great base or just an everyday lip color enhancer.5
I love this tint, it goes on easy, has a pretty smell and lasts for hours. The sample size is great for sticking in your purse for a night out. Color looks good on lips and cheeks5
As a 50+ woman, this is not the kind of lip product I need, but I can say that the color is great.4
interesting product but the color was a little too overpowering for me.3
I love the color and the hint of color it leaves on my lips. I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet. The color doesn't last very long, but it goes on so smoothly that reapplications don't feel icky. Nice product for everyday use.4
I have been wanting to try Benetint for ages, but just never got around to it so I was super happy to see this sample in my first Birchbox shipment! I really liked it - it gives a very sheer, very natural flush to your cheeks and the tiniest bit of color to your lips. Like you would look if it were a perfect world. Not too much, not too little. And the scent of roses is very nice, too.5
It didn't really tint as well as I wanted. I used it on my lips. I also didn't appreciate the scent.3
I am not very makeup-savvy, but I have had this in my collection for some time now, and I still love it. My makeup tends to disappear quickly, (especially by the end of the day) so sometimes powder blushes don't last very long. This tint is a beautiful healthy color and stays on my face longer!5
When I saw the color of Benetint, I expected it to be a lot brighter. It is actually quite natural looking which I prefer. It's a nice way to control how saturated you want the color to be. Works really nice on the cheeks.4
I'm not one to wear this bold of a color on my lips or cheeks normally. I let a friend use it and it looked way better on her.3
