In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
Love this stuff. Can be made as subtle or dramatic as needed.5
Really liked this product more than powder blushes I've tried that seem to disappear after a few hours. Overall pretty weightless, but has staying power.4
This is a great cheek tint. I use it on my cheeks then put my blush over it. The tint makes the blush last all day. I have used it on my lips, but think it is better on the cheeks.4
The product isn't as strong as I expected. I like the color and application better on the lips than cheeks.4
I was so excited to receive this product in my Birchbox! I was originally intimidated by the dark coloring of the bottle and worried that I would look like a clown after application. It took me a few tries to get the right pigmentation that I wanted, but after a few days, I got the hang of it. I really feel like a little bit of this product goes a long way!4
I didn't used to be a fan of lip stains, but this product is slowly changing my mind. It looks a lot more natural then traditional lipsticks and it feels lightweight too!4
I liked the stain. It looks natural and lasts awhile, but I found it too runny for my taste. You have to blend as soon as you apply it because it sets fast and if you're not careful, you can see where you brushed it on your face. It might work better on bare skin so it doesn't smear your foundation around.3
I liked the effect this product had, but it was almost drying to my lips. I had to reapply lip balm several times throughout the day. Good color and easy to apply.4
Best ever lip color for dates, dinner, drinks, and work. Pretty much only lip color I use on a regular basis these days, haven't tried it as a blusher before because I don't use blush anyway. I think it may be too drying for my skin to use on my cheeks.
Great stuff but make sure your lips are in good shape before applying, as it sticks fast to dry or rough skin. It's also a bit dying on its own so be sure to carry a balm. I find it works best after lips have been exfoliated and moisturized regularly.
PRODUCT LASTS FOREVER. It's TOTALLY worth the money.
i like this ok for my cheeks, but I LOVE it on my lips. I dab it on my lips in the am for long-lasting natural looking color, and follow up with a moisturizing balm. Lasts a long time!4
