In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I liked the effect this product had, but it was almost drying to my lips. I had to reapply lip balm several times throughout the day. Good color and easy to apply.4
Best ever lip color for dates, dinner, drinks, and work. Pretty much only lip color I use on a regular basis these days, haven't tried it as a blusher before because I don't use blush anyway. I think it may be too drying for my skin to use on my cheeks.
Great stuff but make sure your lips are in good shape before applying, as it sticks fast to dry or rough skin. It's also a bit dying on its own so be sure to carry a balm. I find it works best after lips have been exfoliated and moisturized regularly.
PRODUCT LASTS FOREVER. It's TOTALLY worth the money.
i like this ok for my cheeks, but I LOVE it on my lips. I dab it on my lips in the am for long-lasting natural looking color, and follow up with a moisturizing balm. Lasts a long time!4
This is my second sample of this product and its my absolute favorite! Its the perfect color for adding natural color to cheeks and lips. I love how easy it is to apply and that it lasts all day!5
I'm pale, blond hair and blue eyes, and despite the deep color of the concentrated, it gave a very lovely, natural-looking flush. I like that fact that it's not as pink as some of the others I've tried. Highly recommended.5
All of the reviews for this product have been pretty positive, so I was hopeful. I had received the same type of product in a sample before (Stainiac) and I didn't like that one either. The texture and color just wasn't for me.1
This is a great product for long-lasting, natural looking lip color. It's dry, but cover with lip balm.4
Just when I was starting to feel the pale skin winter blues, this arrived in my box! It was just the little oomph I needed to add some color to my face. A few quick dabs on the cheek bones and a quick blend was all I needed.4
I love to use tints on lips, but not so much on cheeks. They fade and leave me looking like Raggedy Ann.3
I loved my benetint sample! A quick way to add some natural color to my cheeks & lips. I agree with some other reviewers that say to add a gloss or chapstick over the stain. It was not very moisturizing for me and seemed to last longer when applied to bare lips. This sample will last me quite awhile, and I plan on purchasing the full size bottle after that!5
