In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I don't like the idea of using a liquid on my check. But the stain was okay nothing amazing3
I like this red lip tint. It was fairly subtle and I am excited to wear it out and about. But, it did taste a bit odd.4
Yes!! This is my favorite item from my January box. The stain is like my own lip color but better. Impaired it with the Dr lipp balm from my November box. I gave it a try on my checks, but ultimately I am not a fan of applying cosmetics with my hands.5
I loved the way it looked on my cheeks, so natural! Can't tell you have make-up on, a huge plus for me. I was less enamored with how it looked on my lips, but for cheeks, it's great. And a little goes a long way; I've hardly made a dint in the sample!3
I've used this before in my younger days when I could walk out the house with a fresh face and just a touch of tint on my cheeks and lips. sigh. Anyway, those days are gone, but I'll put it to use when I'm running late for school drop off. :)4
This product has been one of my favorites for many years. I personally use it for my lips. I'm a college student and while I like to look good for school, I don't like to get caked up. Also, my lips are pretty pale. I like to use this product to add a little color to my lips. I brush it on and smooth it in with a finger and when it's dry I dab a little chap stick on. Perfect.5
I dabbed some on my cheeks and rubbed in - very easy to apply! It looks natural - like a rosy complexion. Next I wiped my lips with wand and color was a POP! it didn't last though - maybe ten minutes and color was gone. The idea is great - two products in one! - but faded.2
I would have tried this, but ingredients say it contains parabens, so no thanks I'll pass.1
This is my first experience with this brand and I was so disappointed! I opened my box excited to see this and was totally let down. I am an avid makup girl and this did nothing for me. Couldn't visibly see much difference and the smell is weird. Here's to hoping my next product from this brand is a homerun!1
i use this mostly to tint my lips. i find the nail polish like applicator quite hard to apply for the cheek. i prefer other lip tint products with marker like applicator over this one. nevertheless, the color is natural and very convenient for that quick natural look. i just apply this then put my lip balm over. i think the sample size is pretty enough to use to a long time. not worth buying the full size bottle for $38 since i prefer spending much less money on a colored lip balm4
