In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I absolutely love this product. I'm not crazy about/comfortable with blush, but this stuff is just so great. It's easy to use and it smells fantastic! You can also control where and how heavy it goes on.5
I really like the look this cheek tint gives me, but I always have issues the packaging. It's almost impossible travel with. It doesn't blend well over power so I suggest applying it on bare skin or over liquid/cream foundation.3
This lip tint is amazing. It is always the perfect color. I love it for both day and night and I will definitely be buying a full size once my sample runs out.5
Benetint wasn't a good fit for me, but it ended up moving on to a happy second life with my daughter, who uses it solely for her cheeks. I wanted it for a lip stain, but I didn't like the smell or taste (I felt like I'd just eaten a handful of rose petals) or the wimpy applicator. It looks very pretty and natural on my daughter's cheeks, though.4
I do like the rose scent but applying it is kind of a mess. I am not big a big fan of the liquid ... smudging on your hands...ick2
I like that it takes the guess work out of finding the right shade for your skin, it's easy to apply and it smells really nice. I'm not fond of how often I have to re-apply, but otherwise easy product to use.4
I use this every single day on my lips! It's quick and easy to do! Plus, it gives me the perfect coloring! My boyfriend loves the color too! :)5
I love this product for cheek color. However because it is so watery it has a tendency to bleed. I do love it as blush!3
I use this everyday. I use it as a base for my lipstick and a cheek stain. It stays put and doesn't dry out my lips like others, a very complimentary color for everyone. All my friends ask to borrow it.5
I love benetint. I don't use it on my cheeks, only on my lips but absolutely love it. You are able to get a nice lip color that looks so natural.5
