In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I use it everyday:) makes me look awake and I feel ready to tackle the day . I love how you can use it in you lips as well as your checks, love versatility !!!5
A wonderful multiple use product I recamind this product you can use it on your cheeks lips I love this product4
I love Benefits products ,but I couldn't understand how to use this tint. I put it on my lips, and it just sinks in and I cannot notice any added color. I had to use clear gloss anyway as my lips were dry. When I used it on my cheeks it just sort of blends in and I ended up having to use blush anyway.
This could be a user error for sure, but if you are going for color a translucent gloss with moisturizer and bronzer can create the same look without the frustration.
I'm not much of a make up girl, but I use this everyday. It makes my lips not look like death and lasts all day. I also use it on my cheeks so again, I don't look like death. The bottle lasts a long time. Definitely give it a try.5
i like this brand, this product is very useful to carry around since you can apply it on your lips and cheeks, double whammie!4
I've tried lots of lip stains, because I have a hard time keeping color on my lips. This is a great, low-key color (I'm blonde/blue), a nice base that can be layered with itself or other color lipsticks. I got it as a sample and bought the full size, some of which I put in the empty sample bottle as it's more portable. Love this product, & will probably investigate some of the other colors.5
I really enjoy this tint. I mostly use it on my cheeks or sometimes my lips. It spreads best when you have a moisturizing base layer. For lips, add on top of a balm. For cheeks, add on top of a lotion but not on top of a foundation. In my experience, it can smudge a foundation. I have tried it with both powder and liquid foundation and it smears them instead of looking dewey or soft. So use it on a day when you are going for a more natural or light look.4
I absolutely love Benetint. It is my go to cheek stain and has completely converted me. I don't even use blush anymore! I also like to use it as a lip stain since it has that rosy glow without the intensity of red lipstick.5
I really love this lip/cheek stain. It works well for me as both. For my lips, I have to put two-three layers on my entire lip to get the effect I want. My lips have to be completely dry for it to work, and I let them dry completely before adding another layer. I use a clear balm over them For the cheek, I use two-three stripes and then blend, and repeat if I'm wearing a darker foundation or CC cream. The only negative is that my blending finger is stained, too.5
love benetint as a cheek stain but not as a lip stain (it emphasizes the lines in my lips and seems to travel and not stay put where i want it). as a cheek stain, however, i just love it. it's the perfect flush, like you've just been at the gym or out in the snow. natural and sexy and you don't have to use much so it lasts forever!4
