In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I really like that this is more of a gel, it goes on and stays on easier. The color is barely there but stays all day.4
Not impressed with this product. For being a bright red color, it didn't give my cheek or lips any tint..1
I use this for lip color. I apply a little for slight color and more for a more bold, dramatic look. At first I wasn't sure about the color but it has grown on me after a few days! Great product!5
If you need to run out the door, just dab a few drops on your cheeks and lips. I like to follow it up with some gloss on my lips for extra punch. Great product!4
I love the natural blush this tint gives on my cheeks. I also put it on under my lipstick to keep color on my lips longer.4
This looks so loud when you glance at the blood red color, but it blends in very nicely. Leaves the cheeks rosy almost sun kissed.3
I tried this on my lips (not on my cheeks yet) and I really liked it! I love that it gives a pop of color without being thick like lipstick. I personally do not like the feel of lipstick on my lips, so I've always stuck with glosses or balms. Now that I know lip stain is a wonderful alternative, this is on my "must buy" list!4
I only put a few daps on my lips to give my lips a nice color and shine. I did try putting a lot more and it was really Red. A little goes a long way and a nice color for Fall.5
I like this product! It does not make my lips or cheeks overly red, but provides a healthy, flushed look! Easy to use, no odor!4
I enjoy this product a lot, but it does leave my lips pretty dry. I wish the color was a little bolder, but after a few swipes, I finally built it up to the color i wanted. It definitely helps to wait for it to dry before reapplying to make it brighter.4
