In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
The product was ok. Not really a fan of the scent.3
I did not like this stain. It did not stay on my lips and I would barely even consider them "stained" after using it. It says to apply to the apples of your cheeks then rub in with your fingers, but it left marks that would not blend and it just ended up looking like a big blotchy mess. I would not recommend.2
I did really like this. It gives a natural, long lasting blush. It is easy to apply. I didn't like that the wand you apply it with goes back into the bottle with all your skin bacteria on it, each time you use it.5
Really enjoyed the product! The stain stays on my lips all day through meals! Love it :)4
I apply this in the morning it lasts all day! Great natural look; however, If you don't apply lipgloss regularly, it will looked dried out.
I was really hesitant to use this type of product because I've always been a powder girl. After a few times practicing I love the Benetint concept! It's sooo light and feels just flawless on my skin, particularly in humid and hot weather. I would buy it anytime I was traveling, but would love to test other colors for an everday collection.4
Easy to use and a gorgeous color. Looked amazing on my cheeks and lips. Didn't feel greasy either, like some stains ive tried. A++ product5
My husband refuses to smooch me if I have anything on my lips, so this is the perfect solution to adding a little long-lasting color without the "goop."5
I don't love the color of this product. Also, beware when applying to lips. It tastes like soap and it took a while for me to be able to get the disgusting taste out of my mouth. I will never use it on my lips again.1
Interesting idea, but the color is a bit too bright for me - was expecting it to be darker.3
