In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
This is a neat product, a lip stain that can also be used on your cheeks as blush. It's a very pretty rose/pink color and does last for a few hours. The only gripe I have is that it's difficult to get an even application throughout so sometimes, the pigmentation isn't evenly spread across your lips. A nice alternative to lipstick for some color.4
This stuff is perfect, especially if you want a fast face in the morning or travel a lot and want to keep a light product load in your bags! A few swipes on an exfoliated lip makes a perfect flushed color and a couple dabs on your cheeks makes for a blush that lasts all day. And the value is fantastic! $30 is a lot to spend on one product, but I've had mine for 3 months now and I'm convinced it's going to last all year. Can't beat it.5
This stain was a very nice color, not too dark or red. I also used it on my lips and I loved the shade it made them as well. Did not stain the finger either4
I am not a fan of lip stains & don't use them. I finally gave in and swiped Benetint on and fell instantly in love. My lips are a little darker in color and this gave them the perfect just bitten look they needed. I love that it lasts and lasts. I have seen this product around for many, many years and never wanted to bother with it - now I know why it's such a huge best seller. This is the only lip color I use now.5
I like looking effortlessly cute and polished and this does just the trick! On clean, well moisturized skin, I paint a little on my cheeks and lips, follow it with curled lashes and mascara and little eyeliner under the lash line, and I leave the house looking somewhere between Parisian-chic and cheerleader-cute.5
This was a lot of fun and looks great. I usually only wear Chapstick. This is a great way to add color that is not to heavy. Great product.5
Love this! At first I was unsure of how to use because I have never used a liquid tint like this before but with a few minutes to spare I watched a few youtube videos explaining how to! All it takes is a few dabs on the cheekbone and voila! A sheer, soft tint is added to your face giving you the perfect flush. Personally, my favorite use for this is as a lip stain. I simply brush on a thin layer onto my lips and allow to dry for a few seconds before adding another layer. You can repeat this process as many times you want for a darker lip tint! What I love most is that once it dries, you can't even tell you are wearing it!4
I don't really wear lip polish so this was perfect for me. Added just a hint of color and no residual texture. Will be buying once my sample runs out.5
I was intimidated by this product at first because I have used check stains before that were very difficult to look natural. This one however is great! It blends nicely and gives a nice rosey color on both checks and lips.5
I love this tint. It is just enough color. I use this on both my lips and cheeks for a slight rosy glow.5
