In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I liked the lip tint very much. Currently, I'm just not out shopping for products.5
This is a neat product but I don't wear blushes and tend to go for a more natural lip color too. This shade wasn't for me.2
I love this product for cheeks! Love the color and it blends nicely. It did not do well for me as a lip stain though.4
I absolutely love this stuff! I keep it with me all the time. It's the perfect amount of color without the caked on feeling like lipstick. Def must have!5
The color is great, it goes on nice and sheer. Also, it dries quickly so it's easy to layer. It doesn't feel sticky on your lips either like some stains. The only problem is that it's messy! It's so easy to drip it off the edge of your lip, and it's hard to get off when that happens.4
I got this product before my wedding and I absolutely fell in love with it! I don't wear a lot of make up (especially lip products other than lip balm), but I really loved this product. It lasted a long time between applications (I had to reapply a couple times throughout the wedding day- which was long). All of my bridesmaids loved it as well. It was exactly what my photographer was looking for and he took a picture so he could refer it to other brides that he works with because it worked so well for our day. And now I use it for everyday, and it's good for work.5
This lip tint is not for me. It doesn't last, and doesn't give me enough color or shine. Perhaps I should try it as a cheek stain...3
It was a great shade. I tried to use it, ended up going on clumpy and felt strange on my face and lips. Hopefully it was a fluke, the colour was great!!3
This is the first time I've tried a cheek/lip stain like this. It was interesting, but I could see the appeal in it. It had a nice color, which I was afraid of because I find it difficult to find a good match for my pale skin when it comes to blushes. In the end I will probably stick with my Mac blush, as it's the best blush I've come across.3
This is a nice product to have in my emergency kit since it's multipurpose. It did give a nice little perk of color under lip gloss but it doesn't go on anywhere near as bright as what it looks in the bottle. I love the sample size because I can put it in my purse and always have a little extra color with me. I love Benefit Cosmetics so I'm always happy to get a sample of theirs.4
