Benefit Benetint

In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.

Nice color

Really looks natural when used as a blush. I put shiny clear lip gloss on after I use it for lip tint. Looks really nice.

Too sticky and tacky feeling. Did not last long and came off very quickly before eating or drinking anything at all

Smells nice, but difficult to apply

I received a sample of this product in my welcome box. It is a thin liquid stain you brush onto your cheeks or lips, then blend with your fingers. It's challenging to get an even application on your cheeks, and the color is a little too pink for my complexion. As a lip stain, it is better but ads only a hint of rosey color. On the plus side, it smells like roses. I'll use the sample I have on my lips, but won't buy a full size when I run out.

Too pink
Sampled

I have never used a lip or cheek stain before, but I like the idea. This product smells like roses, almost too sweet but not quite. It is very thin and watery, which makes it difficult to apply evenly. On my cheeks, it is too pink for my complexion. It's better on my lips but gives only a hint of rosy color that does not last long (though not less than most other lip color products, which mostly fade quickly).

Love the Rosy Glow!
Purchased

I cannot say enough good things about this product. Using this, the rosy cheek look is more natural as compared to a powdered blush. And, you can control the level of color as well which I love. I use it for cheeks more than lips.

AMAZING!

I received the small sample and I am still using it months later. Gives you a glow. I have had so many compliments on this and "glow" is the word they use...

Love It!

I love to wear this on my lips most! Just the right amount of color with first application, but easily built up!

very subtle
Sampled

I have darker red lips naturally, so this tint was pretty subtle. I still thought it gave a nice color to my lips without being over the top, and since I usually don't wear lipstick it was a nice alternative. I did enjoy the brief smell of roses during application. I tried it once or twice on my cheeks but perhaps didn't use enough product? I didn't notice any tint.
