In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I'm a huge Benefit fan, and I was hugely disappointed not to have gotten this item in my first Birchbox.4
I love that this product can add a nice flush of color to my cheeks without adding an extra cakey layer of makeup4
Love love love love. Only product u got upset about. Original bb sent a spritzer that didn't work. I soaked it an picked at it and when I complained they mocked me with their words. Saying how to get it to work. I'm a product pro. It was broke. Cudose to birch box, they sent ne a new one;) it wast clogged and broke. Thank bb for the replacement!
I wasn't very experienced with lip stain, but liked this product. I liked that it was subtle unless you layered it multiple times. I thought it tasted a bit funny.4
It was a nice product. I really enjoyed using this product.5
I have been curious about this product for years but never purchased it due to the price. It has a strong scent, but not offensive. I like it for a go to for the beach or pool or any time I want to have a bit of color but no powdery or cakey layers.4
The tint was very vague. I tried it several times with varying amounts and didn't seem to pop!2
The tint doesn't seem to stay on well for me, and is not the nicest color. Works ok if many, many layers are added, but it's tough. Not my favorite tint, by a long shot.2
I don't like this because it's too liquidy and I can't get it to work as a blush or a lip tint.1
I have always wanted to love this product because it can be used as both blush and lipstick and is quick and easy to apply. My issue with it is that the blush can be a bit blotchy. I think I'll stick with my powder blush.3
