In 1977, Jane and Jean Ford, the twin sisters behind Benefit, met a local dancer who requested a long-lasting red pigment that wouldn’t budge during her shows. They listened, and this beloved rose lip and cheek stain was born. Year after year, it’s a bestseller for good reason: the translucent color leaves us with a natural flush so we look pretty, not made-up.
I love this subtle stain its a great color but doesn't feel like your wearing anything! I didn't know you could use it on your cheeks though. I'll have to give it a try.5
I use this tint on my cheeks and it provides an all day, natural color. It's the same color my cheeks turn after exercise or when blushing and just a swipe or two and a quick rub in and my cheeks are pretty pink. Caution, a little goes a long way! Also use this on my lips + chapstick in lieu of lipstick.5
I was apprehensive about trying this because it looked so, well, red. But, I did and I am very happy with it! It blends in smoothly and looks very natural. :-)5
This is amazing and lasts for a very long time.. so easy to use, great color, can be used as a base and then add some shine.. Will definitely be buying this product!5
This lip tint looks amazing for almost any skin tone. I usually don't wear anything straight up red, but this was so natural looking in color. The only thing I don't like is how it looks after it starts wearing off in a few hours, or if you're eating and drinking it goes quicker. That still doesn't stop me from wearing it though!4
I love the natural look that this stain provides. Just the right amount of pinky red to look natural without looking fake. I like not having to worry about smearing it everywhere too. I'm not a fan of the taste but that is actually a good thing since I chew on my lower lip when I'm stressed. The taste definitely discourages lip chewing. I'll be buying this when my sample runs out.5
Benetint is my go to blush for all four seasons. I tried the cha-cha benetint as a sample from birchbox and was hooked. Both give me great color and they last a long time. Great product!5
I didn't hate the color of the tint. What I really didn't like is when I put it on my lips, it smelled/tasted like I had just eaten a rose. Not a fan.2
I haven't used this product in a few years - I prefer a powder blush rather than a stain, but look forward to using the product on my lips.4
I liked the idea of the product more than the product itself. It went on nicely but left some parts of my lips darker than others and had a strange taste even after the product was dry.4
