LAQA & Co. aims to arm women everywhere with not only the highest quality lip and nail products possible, but also the most convenient lip and nail products possible. From a day of errands to a friend of a friends house party to an impromptu selfie, this easy-to-use lip pencil provides high gloss and sheer color, no sharpener required. And unlike some glosses that simply provide a nice shine, this lip lube channels softening shea butter, which moisturizes and fills in any unsightly lines, and is infused with refreshing mint.
Wow; I instantly fell in love with this product. I had been on the fence about bold lip colors on me for the longest time but this tinted balm is fabulous.
I have rather small lips and always assumed any bold color on them would just look dumb but the purple Lip Lube I received in my May box actually looks great on me!
So if you're like me and you think you can't pull off a bright color, think twice! I highly recommend this and I'm going to buy a few more colors!
So I have been on the hunt for a hydrating, coral/peach lipstick in a matte finish for weeks. I am fair skinned with auburn hair, so finding a tone that matches my skin AND has the matte finish I so desperatly crave without leaving my lips dry has been exhausting. Every time I find a color I like, it has a glitter/shimmer to it, and the matte finish ones are either too dry or the wrong color. I had given up hope.
Then, today, as if you fabulous people know me better than I know myself, I opened my May BirchBox to find a coral/peach color of the Laqa & Co. Lip Lube, and I am in heaven. Its the right color, a clean matte finish but also the texture is perfect. The lipstick goes on smoothly, and feels almost like a light weight chapstick. It isn't sticky or cakey and it has stayed just fine thru lunch at my desk without reapplication.
Bonus: The crayon-like shape is very unique, and works well for me. I love the packaging and the sample size is quite large.
Love this color! Sadly, the sample doesn't list the name of the color. I'm hoping I will be able to track it down so I can order it when my sample is gone!
This lip color made me feel like a little girl playing with Barbies. The color is horrendous and makes me look like a child with pink frosting lips.1
Goes on smoothly, minty smell/taste, stays for a while (1 or 2 hours), and also I love the light tint it adds, definitely like a shaded chapstick and less like lipstick.5
Goes on smoothly. Feels soft. Doesn't last very long but color is pretty3
The color just was not for me. I felt like an 8 year old experimenting with make up when I put it on. I gave it to a friend who is into colors like that. Brand and application went on fine though. Just couldn't stand the color1
I adore my LAQA & Co. lip pencils. Full disclosure, my favorite is the purple-y shade that I have, but this one is perfect for times when I want to wear something a bit less in your face. Swiping some on makes me instantly feel more polished. I basically want all of the colors.5
I love this lip pencil. Glides on smooth like a gloss and has a slight minty tingle. The light pink is a little too light for me but I'd love to try the other colors!5
This is a simple go to for me. The sample I received was the Honeypot color. It is such a cute, simple, and complimentary color for daytime or nighttime wear. This pencil was smooth upon application and didn't dry out my lips as many lip colors do. I appreciate that this product comes inso many colors and will be purchasing soon.5
I was not impressed with this lip tube by LAQA & Co. It was very patchy, and even though it claims to be sheer, it sat on my lips horribly and never settled right. The smell was ok, a light mint as described. The color was beautiful, but it just wasn't enough to even out the bad. I didn't feel it was very hydrating either, but I also didn't wear it for long due to the patchiness. I would pass on this next time around, there are many better choices from the drugstore.2
