If “non-foaming shampoo” sounds like a paradox on par with “non-delicious cupcake” and “boring unicorn,” allow us to enlighten you. Non-sudsing cleansers are free of harsh parabens and sulfates, two ingredients that can cause damage to already-brittle hair. And this multitasker from Nelson j Beverly Hills doesn’t just stop at cleansing—it works seven wonders for hair health, including conditioning and detangling. Bonus: the minty citrus scent is a delicious wakeup call.
I followed the directions and as soon as I dried my hair I could tell it was not for me. My hair felt heavy and looked oily. Also there was absolutely no enjoyment in using this. There is only one good thing I can say, when I re-washed my hair it did feel well conditioned and less dry.1
Seriously, never had a more wonderful product for my hair. Beats all the other "non-sudsy" shampoos on the market. I could not believe how soft my hair felt for the entire day. I have fine, curly hair and it did not look greasy. Amazing product. Only one complaint - get rid of the beads. Were they supposed to dissolve? Because they did not and had to pick them out of my hair. That was a turn off for me - please remove the beads so I can use this shampoo.3
Love this shampoo! I have fine, thin, color treated hair. This non-foaming shampoo is gentle, yet cleanses my hair very well. My hair looked healthier after just one wash and did not feel weighed down. I decided to order a full-size bottle, hope I still love it after using it for awhile!5
I can handle the non-sudsy part (though I do love a good sudsy shampoo), but I felt like my hair felt greasy and limp after washing, so it might work better for much drier hair. Also it left little blue beads in my hair all day, long after I had rinsed, dried and styled it. On the plus side, nice scent, but overall not for me.1
I really love the fresh peppermint scent of this shampoo. I have thin, medium length and somewhat oily hair, and I thought this worked well for me. I did miss the suds, but it's not a deal breaker.5
Have been using a similar product for a while and I liked this much better. Will be upgrading once my existing bottle runs out.5
I use another non foaming shampoo regularly and was excited to see this one with argan oil in it. I have fairly long color treated hair but did not need to use a lot of the product. A little does go a long way. I probably did not need to use conditioner after but I did as usual since my hair is very dry. My hair was light, not weighed down, shiny and had body after using this. I'm not sure I'll be buying this since it's so similar to my current routine/shampoo. It did smell nice (minty) and I liked to tingle. I might buy this one to alternate with my current.5
This left my hair feeling dirtier than before I washed it. My scap was super greasy and it took forever to get my hair to dry. Guess it is no match for long thick hair?1
This shampoo takes some getting used to. It was hard to tell if I was using enough since it doesn't foam up. It had a pleasant smell but as others said I didn't care for the little balls, they got stuck in my hair.3
This shampoo was nice and I LOVE argan oil, it's just that I'm not convinced I need to spend $22 on shampoo when my Clear shampoo works just fine. Admittedly, my hair is highlighted but I don't get it done often- kind of a naturally occurring ombre so my hair needs are limited. There are beads in it, similar to a face scrub or an anti-bac gel which I thought would get stuck in my hair but they dissolved- no worries!3
