When BY TERRY created this nourishing balm back in 2003, the brand had no idea it would gain cult classic status so quickly. A favorite of Parisian models and Hollywood actresses, the daily essential plumps and soothes chapped lips with a blend of precious actives. Pure rose essential wax smoothes away roughness, while shea butter doubles the formula's moisturizing powers, bio-ceramides undo the look of fine lines, and lipid spheres help skin retain hydration. Plus, it also works as a luxe nail treatment for dry cuticles.
This stuff is so amazing, I received a small tub in an exclusive box I bought, I love it5
So I learned about this from watching Amelia liana - she is always raving about how good it is. Well I decided to take the plunge. I would say yes it is totally worth it. My lips stayed very hydrated when I put this in to sleep overnight or in the morning while i work out. I do wish the price was more budget friendly though.5
I have been wanting to try this product. I'm medium-dark skin toned. This balm seems to be more suitable for lighter skinned / pinker lips.
I love the way it feels. But on my skin tone, it is probably not the best fit.
However, just for the amazingly gorgeous packaging, I would want to keep this in my bag :D
I LOVE this lip balm! I have spent plenty of money on all kinds of lip products to help rid me of dried cracked, peeling lips. By Terry Baume de Rose is my lips savior and I have no need to look any futher for relief. The price that Birchbox is really good and I'm so glad I found it here!5
I really love this stuff. I was first introduced to it by a the Vanity Affair Limited Edition Box and have been a fan ever since. I save up my points to buy this (so the hefty price tag doesn't sting so much). It's a lovely light rose scent. It has the perfect texture and it gives my lips a dainty pink sheen. It's also great on the cuticles. I also think the packaging is totally glamorous. I wish I had known about this sooner...worth every penny.5
This is a wonderful product. Smooth and applies nicely. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to price. It is expensive but so wonderful. Is a nice way to treat your lips!4
Ok, I wanted to love this product. I am all about everyday products (like lip balms) being special splurges. I was hoping this would be one of them. I think 60$ is crazy for a lipgloss, but I thought: hey, apparently its amazing. It'll make me feel special when I used it and its the best of the best - I want to try it. Unfortunately, I pretty much hate it. It has a milkiness to it color-wise that looks somewhat frosted on my lips (a look I despise because I feel like it makes me look trashy). Its very thick, but is not nourishing at all! In fact after using it as my only lip product for 3 days my lips started getting flakey again. I had finally cured my dry lips with NUXE rev de miel lip balm, which although thick and waxy in texture works incredibly well as both a barrier and in nourishing the lips. I guess I'll try to use it as a cuticle balm or something since I don't want to through away such a high end product...we'll see how that goes.1
This product is my new favorite lip balme! The texture, the consistency, the scent, the taste, the color, AND the fact that it's SPF15?! I will never use another lip balme again - and THAT is saying ALOT. I am IN LIVE5
I have been using this for about a month and at first did not see what the hype was about but the more I use this balm the more I like it. It has a slightly sticky wax like consistency that feels creamy and soothing on the lips. It stays on most of the day and to me seems like it makes a barrier between my lips and the world. I tried to stop using it and found that my lips don't feel or look as soft, supple, and healthy as they did when this balm was in use. The only negative I have is the price.4
This product truly deserves it's reputation. Cleanly made, naturally scented with the rose oil it contains, it s also fun to put on. The kind of product we should , if it were more affordable, have by our bedside, in our desk at work, and in every coat pocket!5
