A laundry list of complex ingredients does not the mud mask make. This handcrafted Buttermilk Sandalwood Honey Mud from Wisconsin-based Wild Honey Apothecary shows that sometimes a few ingredients are all that you need. Using organic, pure skin-beautifiers, the mask exfoliates, nourishes, and brightens. Nothing complicated here.
Leaves my skin so smoothhhhhhh!! I haven't used it for long, but i have noticed a slight improvement in my skin's appearance5
This is amazingly tasty. The reason I know this is it runs into my mouth when I try and shower with it on. It also does a pretty good job, the one flaw is that I almost want to eat it all off my face....4
This smelled good and felt super exfoliating as I was rubbing it on, so I really wanted to love this. In fact, I did - until it made my face an itchy mess that swelled up. I was intensely bummed because I am all about the all-natural stuff and this is one of the few things BirchBox has sent that was right up my alley. But I had a really bad skin reaction and needed Benadryl just to sleep that night.2
I did like the way this felt on my face and the way the sugar exfoliated it a little bit. The smell was pretty strong for me and I also found that hours later I would find a sticky patch on my neck or my hairline (like I had put honey in my hair) because the color blends in with my skin. Like other reviewers I felt like could have made this myself.3
This honey mask makes for a great relaxing evening companion. Smells fantastic, gives you that perfect stickiness to keep it put on your face, and the sugar really exfoliated my pores to perfection. -Will be my next go to mask!4
Smells great and makes your skin smooth. Extremely sticky and sample size was pretty small. Left my skin moisturized but not oily.3
It was nice that it was made with natural ingredients, but it was super sticky and the sugar sort of dissolved before it could exfoliate. Also, the honey smell was overwhelming. I feel I could have made this on my own...2
I think I'll buy this when i am ready for a new mask. It smells great. I really notice my skin being softer after I use this. Love how natural it is too, as I'd I went down to the kitchen and mixed it up (if I knew what I was doing).4
I have super sensitive, oily skin and I tend to break out when trying things outside my normal routine. Not with the honey mud!! It left my skin feeling clean, but not dried out. And it smells (and tastes) great!!4
I have extrememly sensitive skin and I am willing to try anything once if it will help me as far as my adult acne goes but this only made my skin more sensitive. Love the concept but not for my skin type2
