If you want an ingredient list that’s as squeaky-clean as your hair, look no further than this shampoo from Acure Organics. Now to plant the proverbial seed. The natural beauty pros behind the brand have ditched a long list of dirty ingredients (think sulfates, parabens, and gluten). In exchange for these harsh additives, you’ll find nourishing oils plus active plant stem cells that renew and revitalize strands at the cellular level. Not only is it nice to your hair, it’s cruelty-free and vegan too! The Pure Mint + Echinacea is best for normal to fine or limp hair. The Argan Oil + Argan is best for normal to dry, damaged and/or curly hair.
I wanted to like this because it was natural, well I ended up not liking it. My hair is curly and I straighten it a lot and the first time I used it, I thought maybe it didn't mesh with my other products. I used it a few more times and it continued to leave my roots REALLY greasy looking. Finally I wore my hair curly and it did the same thing. Once I stopped using it my hair went back to normal.1
This was ok for my hair. I like that it doesn't have all the stuff I want to avoid. However I didn't like the scent at all. It smelled like mint and medicine. It didn't make my hair great either. I do not plan on purchasing this item.1
I have very thick curly hair and this was not moisturizing enough. I had terrible knots immediately after my shower. I wasn't even able to finish the entire sample!1
im not really a big fan of fancy shampoos because i invest primarily in the conditioner to ensure that my hair get properly moisturized. i do think however that this product did clean my hair and do its intended job1
But the product isnt for me. The smell was minty, and just isnt at the top of my product stash.1
The product hype sounds divine BUT my hair is protein sensitive.1
At all! I couldn't wait to wash the smell out of my hair!1
The product smelled really nice but didn't do anything special. Like a couple of other reviewers, I felt that my hair became oily quicker with this shampoo. Plus this product lost a couple stars for being called a "stem cell" shampoo. There are plant stem cells in the shampoo, which has nothing to do with effectiveness. Forget the product performance...this marketing ploy is enough to make me not want to buy the product.1
So I have LOTS of hair, but it is thin. This made my hair feel heavy and weighed it down - not so fun.1
Has almost a medicinal smell that I really did not like1
