If you want an ingredient list that’s as squeaky-clean as your hair, look no further than this shampoo from Acure Organics. Now to plant the proverbial seed. The natural beauty pros behind the brand have ditched a long list of dirty ingredients (think sulfates, parabens, and gluten). In exchange for these harsh additives, you’ll find nourishing oils plus active plant stem cells that renew and revitalize strands at the cellular level. Not only is it nice to your hair, it’s cruelty-free and vegan too! The Pure Mint + Echinacea is best for normal to fine or limp hair. The Argan Oil + Argan is best for normal to dry, damaged and/or curly hair.
It smells great but it left my hair limp and dull. I wish it did more. I was hoping for some volume. It was good cleanser if I partnered it with another product3
I got this in my box and liked it a lot so I bought full size. It did work really well for a little while but then began to weigh my hair down.3
I bought the lemongrass scent, and I really like it. It seems to work really well with my hair and leaves it smooth. I really like the scent; although, it lathers suspiciously well for a natural product.5
I received the Lemongrass scent of this shampoo as a gift. Although I enjoy the smell of lemongrass typically, like as a candle, I really do not enjoy it for this shampoo at all. That being said, the consistency is just fine, and I love that it is all-natural. I just was not a fan of this particular scent.2
I wanted to like this because it was natural, well I ended up not liking it. My hair is curly and I straighten it a lot and the first time I used it, I thought maybe it didn't mesh with my other products. I used it a few more times and it continued to leave my roots REALLY greasy looking. Finally I wore my hair curly and it did the same thing. Once I stopped using it my hair went back to normal.1
I got the mint sample, and the smell was amazing. I like that this shampoo doesn't have harsh ingredients, but it seemed to make my fine hair flat. I felt like my hair was clean, but there was no volume. If you don't need volume, I'd definitely recommend this brand.3
I've been using this shampoo off and on since receiving the sample a few months ago. The scent is amazing, my hair feels silky smooth, and it looks so fresh! I will gladly purchase this! I also love that it's safe on my colored-hair and is sulfate/paraben/gluten free.5
Trying to get a more natural beauty routine, I decided to give this a try. First, it lathers really well and smells amazing (I got the lemongrass)! But the first day I used it, I noticed some oiliness at the roots. So when I used it again I just spent a little extra time in that area. Problem! After a rinse, it does leave your hair feeling silly smooth, which is not what I'm used to with some of the harsher shampoos. I've also noticed that I don't need to use my flat iron…I'll def. buy again!5
I love this shampoo. The perfect scent. It pairs very well with the conditioner. Can be drying if used too often (more than once/day).4
Pure ingredients, cleans thoroughly, and leaves hair smelling very nice. I love this product and this brand. The smell may take a little bit to get used to; the mint & echinacea scent almost smells a little bit like baking soda, in my opinion, but it's very fresh. But it leaves your scalp tingly, cool, and clean!5
